BillsPride12 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Does the accomplishment of winning 3 straight completely diminish the Bills going 4 years in a row? I'm not asking this to stir anything up or get people riled up but it's something I have been genuinely thinking about as an NFL fan but I was hoping it wouldn't be necessary to bring up if we knocked KC out. But here we are. I'm actually surprised I haven't heard this brought up anywhere as a talking point but as much as I hate to admit it I do think it would take a lot of shine off of the Bills going 4 years in a row, which really sucks because that's the one defining accomplishment in our franchise history now that the greatest comeback deficit was topped a couple years ago. The worst part is there's always the possibility the Chiefs get back next year too which would 100% kill off the notoriety the Bills have for going 4 years in a row since they've already won Lombardi's while doing it. I know records are meant to be broken but it would just sting because this has always been the defining accomplishment in Bills/NFL history. 1 Quote
May Day 10 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 No. there isnt much shine to losing 4 in a row as compared to winning several. 1 Quote

billieve420 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Not looking forward to the Super Bowl but hope Eagles end the Chief’s run. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Winning 1 beats losing 4. What are we even talking about here? 1 1 1 Quote
oldmanfan Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I predict the Chiefs will win because Reid and Spags will completely outcoach the Eagles staff. And if they do the Chiefs will be there with the great teams like the Pats with Brady, Packers with Lombardi, the 70's Steelers and the 80's Niners. Quote

The Chiefs already surpassed the 90s Bills in every way. If they make the Superbowl next year, the 90s Bills will be diminished in their own category, and we cant even have that 1 Quote

We all would have loved to actually win a Super Bowl but history is what it is and the Bills went to 4 in a row. It's something they are recognized for as they are the only team to ever do that. I'm saying does the recognition for that just die out if the Chiefs pull off 3 Super Bowl wins in a row, I would think so unfortunately Quote

K D Posted January 27 Posted January 27 If KC wins the Superbowl we should be ashamed of ourselves because we are a better team than them. We just have a worse coach and guys that don't step up in big moments 1 Quote

Winning ONE Super Bowl is better than losing 4 straight, nevermind winning three in a row. Edited January 27 by Billz4ever Quote
