We can run ball control under Purdy w those picks+Cook and probably be as competitive, possibly more if we hit on a defensive stud I'm also probably the biggest Allen guy there is. But you have to try something different You guys don’t think Allen’s cannon/ability to run opens up the running game a lot? lol insane 13 minutes ago, thenorthremembers said: Well hopefully he goes to the Chiefs because he is currently on the only team that has beat them in the last season and a half. It is honestly crazy…Reid would love seein mcd get fired haha Quote

Have we gotten to the point were we're taking Allen so much for granted now that we think franchise QBs grow on trees? Purdy looked quite pedestrian at times this season. I don't think he comes with a cape. Take him out of the NFC west and playing in domes and good weather for most of the season, and plopping him down in Buffalo probably doesn't end well either. Quote

Plus, we want to give Beane's three firsts? He's hardly great with top of the draft. The Bills would be better off with a bunch of picks from round four. 1 Quote

Beane would probably trade them all for later round picks anyway, but I guess that's a way to avoid 1st round busts is to not have any 1st round picks, lol. 1 Quote

JEFFERSON. nice! they traded up for kinkaid, he sucks. traded up for edmunds, he was a decent player but we let him walk and didn't miss him (low value position) drafted groot, he's been good drafted oliver over 2 or 3 much better DTs, he's been good but not consistent, great playoffs this season. traded the worthy pick to kc (another great trade!) for coleman and of course, elam. if we got anyone besides maybe lamar in that allen draft, beane and mcdermot are working in carolina between then and now and got again at some point. anyhow, to address the OP, allen's legacy will be the greatest most exciting player who rescued a trash organization from itself. he's the barry sanders of qbs. Lfod Posted Monday at 10:15 PM Posted Monday at 10:15 PM I don't think Josh thinks about his legacy as seriously as others do. Hes in the NFL, got a hot wifey, a nice bag and considered one of the top QBs and he rolled out in the first quarter trying to throw the ball to the other team. I don't know him personally but I get the impression he wasnt as locked in ace ice cold stare, down to business Mahomes. I'm sure the sting of the loss doesn't linger as long when every other aspect of your life is a win. When he does care about his legacy. He has an OC that runs the same exact tush push after getting stuffed. Lets live in reality. KC is elite and prepared just a little more and it showed. You have a defense that gets a handful of stops againsts elite teams. He had to be perfect to win that game and he wasn't. 1 1 Quote

He was so wound up on the first drive yesterday that's why he made the errors. He wasn't locked in but it wasn't because he didn't care. If anything, he cared too much and let his emotions take over. He's a great player and not easily replaceable also you have to wonder if they can keep their interior Oline together. Even with the Chiefs win yesterday I don't see them superior to us. They are not ever going to take a downturn. Unless Reid and Spagnola move on. Bills were out coached. Allen started shaky as heck as we got behind and looked panicked a bit. Brady was not awful , he just couldn't get it moving and and with rhythm. Bills Coaches got an education they should have been better prepared for 8 minutes ago, UKBillFan said: I absolutely disagree and I think that's part of the problem. I agree he was overwound. Not that he doesnt care. Obviously he has Passion ! 1st quarter design was a poor effort in the moment and it showed. Josh was not settled in yet Edited Monday at 10:27 PM by 3rdand12 Quote

It's a liability in a game that you know the D wont stop KC and an OC that runs the same tush push every time because he didn't have an answer. I don't think its fair to ask Josh to be perfect in reality but thats what it was gonna take. In the end he put the ball in Kinkaids hands. Im not a downer. Im in the camp this team over achieved and I didn't think they would make it past the Ravens and i for sure thought they would lose to the chiefs for all the same reasons they did lose. Next year is promising if we tool up stronger. Edited Monday at 10:30 PM by Lfod Quote

I think Josh perhaps needs to see a sports psychologist to try and calm him down in big games and the Bills need to strengthen the roster so everything isn't on him. It felt like they'd managed that with the development of Cook, so why did they abandon that and make it seem like Superman Josh was required early yesterday? It was so bizarre to see, even taking into account the Bills have been slow out of the gate for a while now. Quote
