My biggest fear is Josh does a Stafford. Says stuff this before too long and goes and works with someone like McVay.

Shanahan would take him in a heartbeat, he'd be close to family and friends in his home state, even closer to his future wife's job.

Well I was encapsulating all of the takes I read on the board that were speculating why he might be upset or have the right to be angry... and simply saying that maybe if he was mad he was probably mad he had a chance to get it done but didnt... if you are asking me how that works I feel like its pretty simple... he is a competitive player... he wants to win ... he didnt get it done... so he is mad... and I think that is better than him being happy...  If you are asking me about every other posters take on why he might be mad, I have no idea... I told you why I thought he was upset. He is not the type to blame others and demand changes he tends to look at himself.

No, I think he really was mad at the play calling, on those 3rd and 4th downs QB pushes. "Everybody in America was yelling he's going left"

Josh had to be saying about Brady's play calling, " He's going with that! Again"?

He could be he won't ever let on i just don't see the seeds of discontent being sown

The defense made key stops when needed. What did the Bills defense do? Like when they had the chance to get the offense off the field on three and out at the end? The game wasn't necessarily over on the Kincaid drop until the Chiefs exposed the weaknesses once again, like they have done before. Like so many teams have before.

I do think Josh is partially responsible for yesterday. He wasn't at his very best, but it's hard to be against a defense as strong as the Chiefs. The fact the Bills got to 29 has a lot to do with him; most other teams would have been blown out on yesterday's performance on defense and offense. And that's why I believe he should be near the bottom of the list when it comes to blame.

They absolutely do not make stops. I’m not letting that go. We never EVER make stops. We didn’t force a punt for 6 and a half quarters. And we didn’t stop them on that FG drive. We were tied and turned around and let them go right to the 10 and score. Here’s an incredible scenario…how about instead of letting a team walk 50 yards down the Field free every ***** time…stop them. Get a sack. Make them punt. Get the ball back NOT losing for a change

This is the most trashy stuff on the site

There's zero inkling Josh is leaving.. he said his entire career he wants to stay here forever

Not to mention he won't burn up all his Goodwill in Buffalo if he.. he will never be on the wall of fame he will never be the legend of the game.. the Buffalo Bills will never talk about him again

Which Josh certainly does not want to live with.. because he's talked about loyalty his entire career

would it be too hard for josh to pass up a chance to play for the 49ers if this continues? don't take him for granted. there's no guarantee we get his whole career.

You can only put the tag on a player 3 times. At some point he’s either signing the deal or getting traded.

Nearly every team comes calling if that ever happens. Bank on that.

The more I think about it, the more I love the idea or hiring Spags as HC.

So much could be said for bringing him in to add the championship mentality this team needs.

We have maxed out with the current regime. IMO.

Just to be clear, without Josh, we would probably be around .500 or worse.

P.S. Without Josh, McD would have been let go a long time ago.

He's a terrible head coach

Worse than Leslie Frazier as the head guy

I wouldn't say it's the "real story". It's part of the story. The other part is two potential game winning TD's and we can't get it done. Bad talent lifted up by an all world QB. Awful situational football.

when is the last time McDermotts defense overwhelmed a opponent discounting journeymen dumpster fire qbs and rookie starters  Every game against a quality offense has to be a shootout and on top of it he insists on meddling w the offense to keep his tiny defense from completely falling apart.

I think you may be onto something, but to be fair Beane is more of a disappointment not getting enough of the proper players on defense in the draft.

Since 2000, teams with 4+ TDs and 0 Turnovers in a playoff game are 59-3

The three losses

Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2024 AFC Championship
Bills vs. Chiefs in the 2021 Divisional Round
Chiefs vs. Patriots in the 2018 AFC Championship

Josh Allen has 25 tds and 4 turnovers in 13 playoff games.

Bills defense have now surrendered 38, 42, 27, and 32 points in all four of their losses to the Chiefs. What makes this STAT most alarming is each one of those scores was the most points the Chiefs scored that year in the playoffs.

Bills have a defense issue and it is painfully obvious they will never win until this is addressed. Allen basically has to come out slinging immediately because his defense does not give him time to breathe. I've watched Mahomes, Brady, Burrow, Manning all struggle early in games only to win because their defense made multiple stops in the first half. Bills defense have serious problems against elite competition and this is year 5 of this mess.

This Bills team is a bit of a mirage. If Josh Allen doesn't play like Superman, I doubt this team ever makes the playoffs. The GM should be ashamed of the WR's he has assembled to support Josh. Outside of Shakir it's bleak. No excuses for Beane.

It's McDermott who is to blame...it's his scheme he refuses to drop and adapt a new approach

C'mon, they punted in the second half, that's terrific!  Let's spend another 50mm of cap and 5 pics so Hamlin and his sob story can inspire us!!

Literally the easiest game of mahomes career (highest success rate per drop back) last night.

Like, what do these people think a bad d looks like?
