Choked is too strong. He was bad for him and got extremely lucky that he didn’t turn the ball over a bunch.

He also wasn’t the reason we lost. Sadly, Mahomes did slightly outplay him again though so we get to listen to more Mahomes > Allen takes for the rest of eternity.

I cannot believe the mod's did not 86 this beauty right out of the gate.  I have been around for so many heartbreaks, I am not sure this one even broke my scab. I feel like losing Benford was just too much to overcome.  I am sure Elam is good at something, but football ain't it.  Alas, as I told my Queef fan brother this morning via text.

"Good morning. I am reaching out to let you know that everyone hates your team even more this morning. This obviously excludes Pond Scum, Roger Goodell, Chiefs fans, Taylor Swift fans, and the NFL Referees Union.  Which kind of speaks for itself. May Saquon dry **** you all until you bleed. Carry on."

And that is where I am leaving this one.

Good day.

choke is a strong word....all I will say is the last offensive drive was awful...

He started off looking like a deer in the headlights and it didn't get much better throughout the game. You can tell when he is having fun out there, last night was not one of those times.

Who did you say choked?

The ball was thrown 5 yards short it's a wonder that Kincade even back to it.

He’s great. He’s been great in the playoffs. He wasn’t tonight.

Started shaky as hell. Couldn’t run all night. Couldn’t sneak. Couldn’t get it downfield (except Hollins a few times…good on Hollins). Ran right into that blitz he didn’t see to end the game and left Shakir open for what may have been a winner.

Love Josh. But let’s just call it what it was—choke job tonight. If he was great we go to the superbowl. He was far from great.

They scored 29 points on the Chiefs defense. Outside of the Bills earlier in the year, no one has got to 29 points on that team.

This board and Bills fans are absolutely unbelievable and unhinged. It's actually really sad that you are starting a thread saying he "choked." No player has a perfect game, this is the NFL. Josh Allen put up 29 points on a Defense ran by DC that has 4 super bowl titles. Get a fking grip.

OH and the defense let up 32 points. A team that has scored 30 points exactly zero times this year on a team lead by a defensive HC

Posts like this are why Josh is going to win a Super Bowl but it will be in San Francisco or Los Angeles

1) This is big boy football, we aren't the Raiders.  That ball was catchable and it should have been caught. You want to win Super Bowls?  Those are the plays that get made. David Tyree caught a ball on his helmet in the big moment. Kincaid dropped a ball right in his hands.

2) The miracle was that Allen even got the ball off to begin with since he had 3 unblocked rushers in his face and was throwing off his back foot falling away.

No choke, KC blitz and defense was designed to keep Allen contained. When Allen did have time he wasn;t finding much open.

Allen did not feel comfortable and it showed

It's a wonder Josh even got the ball there, did you watch the play? He had PLENTY of time to get to the ball.

I think for the most part we intentionally didn’t throw downfield except for the couple of scenarios it made sense (end of the half, end of the game to leave time for another possession). This was to protect our trash defense.

It isn't the best statistically but it is the best situationally and that is all because of Spags. 4th down game on the line and we call pretty much the exact same play we ran on 4th down against them in the regular season. What does Spags do? He says this time I'm throwing two unexpected blitzers into that hole where Allen beat me last time. Now Allen can't beat him all on his own, he has to rely on his pass catcher who inevitably drops the ball because that's what Allen's teammates do to him every single year. Spags forced our hand with his play call and we choked. That defensive play isn't about players, it's about coaching.

It actually was the #1 scoring defense when the starters were playing (excluding week 18). I think they have a decent argument for best defense in the league this season.

Josh didn't play his best game but he did not choke.  Things were coming together in the 2nd half but KC's superior defense just made plays at the end.  As the season was down the stretch and even in those first two playoff games, it became really apparent how our receivers and tight ends were not getting open much.  Shakir is special, Hollins overachieved for sure... the rest were just meh.

I heard an interview with Jesse Palmer a few weeks ago, who mentored Josh in the past.  He said he actually called Allen and told him to stop throwing on the sidelines and landing on his right shoulder, exposing it to injury.  Jesse explained it's going to take a couple years off his career and really wants Allen to stop taking those risky hits specifically on his right shoulder.  I did find it a bit odd that in his earlier years, Josh would take off and run and really do damage with his legs.  Now he scrambles to the sidelines and try's to make a ridiculous low% throw, which he sometimes completes.  But a bit more scrambling and getting rush yards last night may have made the difference.

Choke?? No, he didn't choke.

But when we need a big boy play or general to show up - he ain't it. I'm starting to agree with the masses that think he is very talented, which he is. But there is "something" and it's in his head. he will never overcome. He panics. When we face a good team like the Chiefs, we can see the pattern.

I love Josh. I love the Bills. But something needs to change.

No. It's a team game. That's not end of story. Not even close.

Correct.  But that drop was HUGE in the moment.  Kincaid had 3 chances tonight to make impactful plays.  He came up short all 3 times.  Not good enough.

That was a game defining moment and an opportunity to make the play in the biggest spotlight, something other receivers and tight ends seem to make against our Bills all the time.  Just once, it would be nice if we could make that catch.  I'm so sick of our boys never being able to make plays that are not simply 'routine' plays.  The ball hit him in the hands.  You don't think Kelce comes up with that catch for Patrick?  SMH

He chucked that up as a prayer. Shocking it got as close as it did.
