We lost our identity tonight and we lost because of it.  All season long we’ve leaned on the run game.  Tonight we did not.  And it wasn’t for lack of success as James Cook ran for 85 yards on 13 carries.

Brady failed this offense tonight.  Not Josh.  You don’t even get jittery Josh tonight if the game starts with Cook ripping off 6.5 yards a carry like he did all game.

I was pissed at Brady for last weeks 3rd quarter debacle.  But tonight I felt he was going to call a tush push 10x times?  Dear Lord, stop Joe... it's not working or stick a 340# player behind Josh.  And that showed me he just isn't all that clever.

it bothers me, and we all know it that if Buffalo was leading 32-29 with 3 mins remaining and the situation reversed, Mahomes would have driven down and probably scored a GW touchdown.  And we couldn’t.

Josh wasn’t his best and you have to be to beat Mahomes.

He had the ball in his hands with over 3 mins left and timeouts with a chance to win the game and went 4 plays and out. That can’t happen. Like always It’s the little things at the end of games that separates Mahomes from Allen.

I guess I don't get that either. Gilliam was the primary pusher on a couple, Ty Johnson on at least one fail. Meanwhile Anderson is over there flanked to Josh's right side instead of pushing ....

What are you guys even saying?

Mahomes had the ball in the redzone with a chance to put a touchdown dagger on the board against our awful defense and he instead took a sack and then threw an incomplete pass and had to settle for a field goal.

Thats how Mahomes went off the field with 3 minutes left.

Yeah. So clutch…

Yeah I wish Josh wouldn't have dropped that heroic 4th down pass he threw.  I'm starting to wonder if a good portion of this board even understands football.

Sadly, I agree. It seems like people are just angry and throwing slop at everyone whether deserved or not. We all saw that game and reading “Josh Allen choked” is comical. The refs blew a few obvious calls. The team got out coached badly. I’m actually pretty darn annoyed at the coaching staff after this one.

If you expected Josh to play the greatest QB NFL playoff game ever (like did in 2 different playoff games 4 years ago), then yeah, he didn’t do it tonight.  But honestly, after a first shaky drive, he played a great game.

He stood in against pressure and hit some very tough passes. He put the team in position to win.  KC out coached Buffalo again. They knew we always went left on sneaks & lined up against it.  We should’ve adjusted, but we didn’t.

The refs certainly didn’t help us in any way, with one bad spot after another. Our defense gave up the most points of the season for KC.   No one would’ve blamed Mahomes for the loss even though he had 2 fumbles (one was nullified by an incorrect Offside call). However, Josh catches blame every time. It’s another tough playoff loss for Buffalo, but it’s ridiculous to try and pin any of the 4 on Josh.

Allen is turning into a tragic hero and it's just sad.

There's never a Alvin Harper moment, or Chris Jones game vs Cincinnati or anything.

And every time it's time to make a play someone lets him down or doesn't even show up...

Rousseau, Von, Elam Kincaid, Coleman??? Nothing....

Josh didn’t choke.

I said he did early, but he pulled it together and played Mahomes pretty evenly.  (As he usually does)

And per usual, Mahomes Defense plays better, his playmakers don’t fold under pressure and the refs give him game altering calls.

Cook sucks at pushing Josh. He weighs 189# dripping wet. For the love of God Joe, stick a BIG body behind Josh. You're telegraphing the play anyway.

Josh missed like 2 plays lol only thing I really fault him for was the throw to Samuel early that was a straight up gimme for probably huge yardage that he mostly missed.  Samuel could’ve caught it but the ball placement blew a ton of rac

I thought he played really well personally, just needed someone to come up with one more play

He started off shaky but no I would not say he choked.

I would say it felt the like a lot of this game and the 2nd half of the Ravens game he was largely neutralized.....  to which I blame that on the play calling

He made so many plays to keep us in this game....he kept getting us back...

He didn't play his best game. No doubt. But again he did enough to win if others did their job.

Brady and McDermott failed him again. Even in the PC as the Chiefs stopped the QB sneak all game, McD defended continuing to use it.  Inexplicable low use of Cooper again.  How is that not a fireable offense?  How does Cook not get more touches. He was the best player on the field.

The defense was again mostly trash.

McD same excuses.  He is already defending himself in the PC and saying they played a lot of young guys.  Young players? Who?  Bishop and Coleman as a 4th WR.  Every other player was a veteran.

Agreed..Josh needed one more second of patience and that was going to be a big play.  Yet another missed opportunity

I don't think anyone choked. Maybe Kincaid for not catching that. He was brought in because of his great hands. He hasn't been a difference maker all year. He had a chance to make a critical play. The wall was in his hands and he dropped it.

But the Bills fought hard for 4 quarters and just didn't get it done. It was a close game. The maddening part is how clear it is that the Bills are evenly matched with the Chiefs and SO CLOSE to beating them, but keep coming up just short at the end of games.

29 points should be enough against a team that struggled to score all year.

Same sh!t every year in the playoffs against the Chiefs.

Hold them down in the regular season to around 20ish points, playoffs we have zero answers for them.

We cannot beat them if we can't figure out how to effectively play defense against them in the postseason.

To play defense against a good team your defense has to be good . Our defense is not and will never win a championship as constructed. Not ever. All world QB and offense means Jack and shyr when your defense sucks.
