He’s great. He’s been great in the playoffs. He wasn’t tonight.

Started shaky as hell. Couldn’t run all night. Couldn’t sneak. Couldn’t get it downfield (except Hollins a few times…good on Hollins). Ran right into that blitz he didn’t see to end the game and left Shakir open for what may have been a winner.

Love Josh. But let’s just call it what it was—choke job tonight. If he was great we go to the superbowl. He was far from great.

He didn’t play his best game for sure.  Then again, he did score 29 points on one of the better defenses in the NFL.  I don’t think he deserves as much blame as you want to give him, but yeah it was not his best performance

Josh had a slow start with nerves which was disappointing, but he made huge plays to win the game. Joe Brady lost it on the offensive side of the ball. How many sneaks did the chiefs need to stuff before you try ANYTHING else. Terrible play calling.

The only one who choked are the jokers who put this supporting cast around Josh. Yes his opening drive was full of jitters, but you'd be jittery too if you knew there was a 100% chance you'd have to score 35 points just to beat KC.  Sean's yearly defense is a joke. It's  too small, too slow and too soft.  So aside from Josh, Cook & Hollins...the rest choked. Including your coaches.  Besides the league wasn't going to let us win anyway.

It wasn't Allen's best game.

But if we had a decent defense, it's a different story.  He just has such a small margin for error because we cannot get key stops in the playoffs against the best teams.

His first two passes going right into the hands of Chiefs players was definitely a choke. Pure luck neither were intercepted. The fumbled snap was definitely a choke. Lucky he dropped on it. None of it ended up going against the team though.

Josh played like a top tier nfl qb tonight, even if he didn’t play like the greatest in the history of the game

I will say this…Josh for some reason forgot how to Tush Push tonight.  A Tush Push is perpetual forward motion.  Yet multiple times he side stepped making it no longer a tush push, but a QB draw, not even a sneak.

I will forever wonder why in the hell did we keep running the his god awful version of it that was nothing like we did all year…and I mean nothing like what we did all year.

Chiefs were overloading the left guard on QB sneaks because they did their homework. We kept running it to that side because we're stupid.

Still fixed.

No he didn’t.

we built a team that was supposed to run over the opposing defenses.  It did all year.  Until we needed it most tonight… partly due to an unfavorable spot.

I’m not much of a drinker, matter of fact I do not drink but I think Josh could benefit from a few shots of vodka before each game and maybe his lady should relieve him the night before.

You realize we pay Josh all the money right?

or maybe right before.....  he seemed very anxious when he started

I strongly disagree with that.  That first drive was ugly,  and I wouldn't say he had a great game,  but it was still a good one.  He made enough plays to win.  When the QB and the offense put 29 points on the board,  you should win the game.

Yeah the QB sneak was the difference in the game in my opinion. You can always look at a million things, but our inability to execute a simple play is why we lost.

Right but that is not on Josh.

I didn’t find he was asked to do to anything until they were in tough situations. Then most of them were qb sneaks. He wasn’t his best but choke is a little overboard.
