You're on FinHeaven bro. A cursory check would confirm that I am correct

And? So? If you know what the heck you were talking about. They know I was touting the Bills over there at the beginning of season and I told them Miami was t going to be that good.

Just like je told you here at the beginning of the week that I didn't think Bills were winning this game.

So apparently I'm a universalky impartial observer who's been right on macro predictions.

No, I'm not a Dolphins fan. Their new jerseys look like a bar if soap or bathroom tile

The title says it all. Marino was probably the best quarterback of his time and never played in the big game. Allen is the most talented quarterback in the NFL but consistently gets let down by his coaches and teammates.

We forget the other team has a Superhero playing QB as well.

I think everyone here believes josh to be a HOFer. But from an objective standpoint, I don’t think he will get in the HOF because a majority of the media seems to have some sort of bias against Josh when he’s clearly an elite player.

To me, Josh seems like a first ballot HOFer if he continues on this trajectory another few years.

Unfortunately I don’t see JA ever making it to the Super Bowl.  He will forever be sabotaged by poor defensive scheming & poor defensive personnel.  Sure, our offense wasn’t their usual self tonight, but McDipshits defenses always underperform in meaningful games.  Josh literally has to score on every possession for them to have a fighting chance

I don't think McD will ever catch up to Reed or Spags, so I've given up on that one...

But if the Bills and Beane don't start hitting better on their premium Draft picks they will doom Allen's career to a path similar to Marino's...

If you want just a little example... On that last play you have the Kincaid (1st Round Pick) drop... But the whole play is blown up because CyBo (2nd Round Pick) is blocking no one and allowing not one but two blitzers through the gap between him and Brown (3rd Round Pick...Spencer looses too...but to be fair Spencer had a good year overall)...

You had Groot (1st Round Pick) doing nothing again in a KC Playoff game... Oliver (1st Round Pick) played OK but not great... Epenesa (2nd Round Pick) was mostly unheard from. Bernard (3rd Round Pick) led another lackluster Defensive effort. Bishop (2nd Round Pick) could have had a huge INT and let a 165 lb WR muscle the ball away from him...Dwayne Carter (3rd Round Pick) did not even play...Coleman (2nd Round Pick) looked completely lost after the injury...Did not even look like the same player...Dorian Williams (3rd Round Pick) is a back up. And Elam (1st Round Pick) apparently needs 10 yards or more cushion even though he's supposed to be a press man corner...

None of these guys are bad players... But Beane is not hitting big on any of them... And that's the difference between us and KC... It's fractional... It's super small... But it's real... He's got to do better...

Until McDermott and his stupid defences are gone then Allen will never make it to a Super Bowl.  Gets tougher every year and this one hurts

I'm not here to proofread everything. Where am I trolling? Being a above par Jimmy the Greek is trolling?

Bills will be better next year

Agreed.  Not to mention the other teams with high end QB talent in the AFC.  Gonna be tough to even get back to a championship game

Not without a ring he isn't. That's just how QBs are viewed. Nevermind that his presence alone gives the Bills probably an extra 8 or 9 wins a year and his insane numbers and plays....without a ring it won't matter.

Jim Kelly

Dan Marino

Dan Fouts

Fran Tarkenton

Warren Moon

Sonny Jurgensen

Marino went to the super bowl as a rookie and never again.

Maybe more like this era's John Elway? Elway went to the Super Bowl in his 26, 27, and 29 year old seasons and lost all three.  Jost is short of that obviously, but has had some epic post season success and disappointing final games in his 24-28 year old seasons.

People told a story about Elway, and how he wasn't going to win the big one, and how the NFC powers were at a different level when it mattered. Then that story didn't end up being true. He had to wait to his 37 and 38 year old seasons to be a back to back super bowl champion, but the guy who lost at 26 was the same human  who won at 37, and the story up to that moment wasn't determinant of what lay ahead.

I am also a Red Sox fan, and I dealt with what that was from 1986 to 2003, and after game 7 against the same old Yankees in 2003 it felt like the story was written and the last 86 years would mean the next 86. Except in 2004 the same old Yankees didn't matter...and then 2007, and then 2013, and then 2018.

Josh Allen is an amazing football player and a winner. This Buffalo Bills team is a great organization with a great roster. The 2025 AFC Championship was a game. It is not a short story, and it is not the final chapter in a tragedy.

This should hurt if you care, and I care, but when these guys dust themselves off the mat and get back to work, it is to become champions and have that parade, and no amount of heartbreak should ever extinguish the belief and the drive and the dedication toward that goal.

I will be at that Parade. I'm sad I have to wait another year and not do it in 15 days, but this team should be a joy.

And if you agree at all with me, will you try to convince my teenager? He is not taking today's loss as well as I am.

Go Bills.

Weird, one of the few guys at work I’m friends with outside of it moved up here from Florida and is a Fish fan.

He said after the 13 seconds that it wouldn’t surprise me if he turns into Dan Marino. Is the best of the bunch he was drafted with/around but never wins a Lombardi.

I laughed.

I regret that laugh after reading this thread.

Potentially....  I do believe that Michael Jordan had the "IT" gene, along with Tom Brady, and it's starting to look like Mahomes does as well.
