yea I’m pretty worried on Coleman being Gabe Davis 2.0…. Probably has a few big pop games where with a broken coverage plus a 50-50 ball plus a great Allen throw he’s 140 yards and 3 tds…. But then goes a month without a meaningful passing play and we talk about his great run blocking

Separation is going to be hard to create and he’s just blanketed a lot of the time

Coleman being Gabe would be an upgrade to what he is now. Gabe built up speed to create separation deep but Coleman can't even do that. Gabe was a 4th round pick and we got the most out of him. I'm not sure where Keon fits in this in this offense right now. I don't see any nuanced route running. The contested catch thing only happened a few times all year. He's probably best suited for the slot but with Shakir playing there it's hard to see him getting a ton of opportunities.

Our only non garbage move this off-season was hollins, who value wise was a huge hit.

We lost to KC, again, with a defensive melt down, again, because our team has high floor with Allen, and a couple guys in the ol and cook and a plucky slot wr who can play.

The front office has got to go

It’s hard to give the draft class anything above a C. (Not one consistent impactful player) Hopefully, Coleman and Bishop take HUGE steps forward next season, but it doesn’t look promising. Coupled that with Kincaid and Beane has missed on both his first offensive picks in back to back drafts.

Bishop is an absolute disaster. Completely lost in coverage and in space. Also you see those 29” arms when he goes to tackle.

SVPG also had unusually short arms for a C-G.

Short arms, the new market inefficiency Beane will exploit!

Cole couldn’t beat out Hamlin or Rapp.

Yeah and James Cook couldn’t beat out Singletary. Shakir couldn’t beat out McKenzie. Benford couldn’t beat out Dane Jackson. Milano couldn’t beat out Ramon freaking Humber. Have some patience man.

Gotta love that 25 year old LB we took from Washington.

Davis was in that group of 4th Round RBs - Wright, Guerrendo, Allen and he was just as productive as them.

Bishop played fine today.  He was not responsible for today's loss.

While we're at it, can we review the 2022 draft class as well, particularly Elam?

Because as much as I don't want to pile on, I can't help but be annoyed we still let this guy on the field.

Coleman in 3 games in the playoffs...3 catches on 8 targets for 22 yards and 0 TDs.

It's hard to even get excited for him because his flaws are just so detrimental to him having success in this league.

Bishop looked lost and was a complete liability on the field.

Meanwhile, Davis is going to be 26 next season and is firmly behind Cook.

It's hard to pick out a single impact player out of that group. What a pitiful draft class by Beane.

I've gotten in so many arguments about our last draft. First of all I absolutely hated doing any business with our Arch enemy. How stupid must McD & Beane be to let Andy undress you both...again. Secondly we knew this was a massive WR heavy draft. We knew BTJ could be had if we gave up our Cole Bishop pick. We'll, we all know how all that turned out.  BTJ became a fast, stud rookie WR.  Coleman became a slow (4.7) jump ball guy who had a nice gauntlet. And sorry but Bishop did not impress me year 1.

So while we continue to fail Josh on bad defensive picks.  We also fail him on the offensive side of the draft too. Aside from some clutch catches by our WR5 (Hollins), who got separation this year?
