We're going bowling with a few other couples.  We're calling it "superbowling".

I'm not watching. Can't stand either team. The halftime show hasn't had anyone I care to see since The Who in 2010. The commercials aren't nearly as good as they used to be... plus, you can watch them all on YouTube. And mainly, if the Bills aren't playing, I have no interest.

Not a boycott really but I think I'll skip this year.   I have a little football fatigue.  If Mahomes wins this one he or Brady has won 7 of the last 9 Super Bowls.

I can't deny myself the holiday which super bowl Sunday is in my home

 

so I will spend a stress free day hoping the dirty birds can  spray a can of whoop *** all over KC

 

I'm tired of their dominance and I'll root against them even if for Philly who I have no allegiance to whatsoever

 

The NFL is a cash cow and we are its *****

 

it sucks but its true. I say that because we are INVESTED in this league.   addicted more like it

I was going to go to the Super Bowl if the Bills had gotten in.  Now I'm not going.  I guess you can say that I'm boycotting the game.

I’m a football fan. I’m not a conspiracy theorist. I will happily watch the LAST football game of the year. Unfortunately the Bills aren’t playing, but I’m pretty accustomed to that at this point.

I'm not boycotting the game but I'll probably have the remote in my hand channel surfing the entire time. Pregame crap, halftime show, commercials, I have zero interest in and won't be watching any of that.

 

Seems that in a league that supposedly wants parity it has been anything but for the last 20 years. First it was Brady and the patriots in the game that can't be mentioned, in it and winning it year after year, now it's Mahomes and the Chiefs, in it and winning it year after year.  The officiating back in the Brady era always seemed just as shady for them as it does with the Chiefs now ... Coincidence ? ... Probably, but I'm not 100% sure anymore and I don't like that feeling.

 

Sports Entertainment it is.

Interesting... This past AFCCG was the 2nd highest watched non-SB game.

 

The highest?  1988 AFCCG.

 

Guess who was in that one?😏

 

Any... Should boycott it, to show then the smallest market in League is their bread and butter!

Oh, they care.  We saw that on full display with Schefter last weekend singling out the most recognizable player in an attempt to quell the conspiracy that the fix was in by promising to include replay assist on certain penalties.  They're scared to death of the thought of the game being fixed because they fully went all in on gambling.

Haven’t watched the Super Bowl in a long time. Went to a party for eagles patriots when eagles won but only watched a little bit. Last full one I watched was the Seahawks patriots.

just a quick note that I am affiliated to a female bills Facebook group called bills babes. They are actively posting for boycott and a lot of positive replies.

 

I never thought I would ever see it. But maybe just maybe the NFL will notice a  reduction in viewership and take steps to correct why and Fix the danged thing. 

 

I mean I still wont hold my breath.  It is a world wide focused event but still. 

 

I hate focusing on anything we  fans have no control of.  But the NFL is hearing complaints not just from fans

 

Hope springs eternal KC loses.
