Riverboat Ritchie Posted Monday at 03:39 AM Posted Monday at 03:39 AM I know it’s childish and immature and I love football but I think it might be a good year to boycott and go skiing or something during SuperBowl. Even during Patriots reign I never thought about not watching but so tired of tay tay (recognize she is a good performer), the chiefs, Mahomes and the Kelces that I am not sure I could stomach it. I am also not a big fan of the Eagles and their a hole fans although Saquan is awesome. This sucks. Go Bills. Quote
KeLLy1278 Posted Monday at 03:47 AM Posted Monday at 03:47 AM Nobody will care.. the ratings will still be through the roof. A collective nationwide effort would make a dent.. and that’s not happening. PS- Have I mentioned that this team’s coaching staff is an embarrassment and need to be fired in short order? 1 1 Quote

It’s been an excellent decision each year. I’ll watch the season opener next season. Edited Monday at 03:49 AM by LEBills 2 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted Monday at 02:18 PM Posted Monday at 02:18 PM Are we allowed to say "Super Bowl"? Or is it only media types that cannot use the term. The was some discussion on WGR's afternoon show a while back that they were only allowed to refer to it as 'the game'. 🤔 Quote
RkFast Posted Monday at 03:13 PM Posted Monday at 03:13 PM Im not officially "boycotting" becuase what difference will it make but I dont think Ill be watching. 2 Quote
frostbitmic Posted Monday at 03:35 PM Posted Monday at 03:35 PM If you don't feel like watching then go skiing or whatever else might give you more pleasure, I didn't watch the last few Brady Bowls because I was so sick of him. I remember one Brady Bowl one of my daughters, my wife and I did a Game Of Thrones marathon and watched 5 hours of that while stopping midway through for pizza, wings etc ... It beat watching Tawmy hold up another Lombardi. 1 1 Quote
Orlando Buffalo Posted Monday at 03:46 PM Posted Monday at 03:46 PM I have missed at least 5 SB over the past decade, and much of the playoffs many of those years. The officiating is terrible and makes the games as much about them as the players and that makes the game horrible to watch. 1 Quote
US Egg Posted Monday at 04:57 PM Posted Monday at 04:57 PM I have a $**** SB square. I only watch the ends of the quarters. Quote
Poleshifter Posted Monday at 05:28 PM Posted Monday at 05:28 PM No big boycott, but I plan to skip it this year. I can’t watch Chiefs games, and I don’t like Philly. 1 1 Quote
Fr. Jerk Posted Monday at 05:44 PM Posted Monday at 05:44 PM I'll throw it on while I do something productive. Quote
Back2Buff Posted Monday at 06:25 PM Posted Monday at 06:25 PM I've missed out on so many series during football season, I would rather catch up on those than watch the Chiefs again. With the amount of stoppages, the game has zero entertainment on a normal year for me. Also, as someone who works closely with Nielsen, TV ratings are some of the biggest lies out there. The amount of assumptions that go into these ratings make them complete lies. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted Monday at 06:48 PM Posted Monday at 06:48 PM I'll probably just watch it at home but I'm def not going to any parties or doing anything eventful for it 1 Quote
4th&long Posted Monday at 08:14 PM Posted Monday at 08:14 PM I wouldn't call it a boycott but I won't be watching. Stick of the chiefs and I don't like Philly. The NFL wants all chiefs all the time they can have it. 1 Quote
Just Jack Posted yesterday at 02:28 AM Posted yesterday at 02:28 AM FYI, if you have a Roku and go to the Roku Channel, then Live TV, ESPN 8, The Ocho is there. They have other things you can watch that Sunday night if you need a sports fix, like professional cornhole, and belt sander races. Quote
GETTOTHE50 Posted yesterday at 08:23 AM Posted yesterday at 08:23 AM This nfl season ended yesterday for me. The Super Bowl is nothing more than a marketing slobber fest and is even more overhyped than the election. It’s gone down hill fast the past couple of years, and if your team isn’t it, then watching the inevitable result of the chiefs winning is not worth it. atleast against the patriots, it felt like they were vulnerable. but with the chiefs, the nfl is pushing favoritism to a new insufferable level. Pete Posted yesterday at 01:19 PM Posted yesterday at 01:19 PM Go Eagles! Go Super Bowl Squares! Quote

I know that might sound weird. But if I'm going to party Lets have a fun party. laugh at the commericials. schmooze with some friends. You know have a good time. If my Bills were in the Super bowl I want to be in as least stressful environment possible. I want solitude I want focus I want NO distractions. Having people over makes no sense. I would be a terrible hostess and likely scare some people with my yelling lol Yep. I love the super bowl. It's a national holiday as far as Im concerned. My old church used to have a "Souper Bowl" where people brought in donations of canned soup for a local food bank. anyway go dirty birds. I hate the red team we all know who they are. Blech 1 Quote
SCBills Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM Posted yesterday at 02:38 PM I'm not boycotting it, but I can't imagine this is the tenor of discussion the NFL wants for much longer. You have some analysts and most fans alike, at fever pitch, saying in all seriousness that they wonder if the league is just entertainment at this point and not a true competition. Bill Burr was on Rich Eisen's show echoing that sentiment. Every show yesterday opened by talking about, yet another, game altering call(s) that went the Chiefs way. Maybe they don't care, but the NFL is getting dangerously close to becoming a league it's fans will watch, but don't truly believe in any longer. 2 Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago My sister in Northern Vermont just texted me this: "Overhead from a 3rd grader in my bus duty line today..."why bother watching the super bowl, if KC is playing...we know who will win ahead of time"🤣🤣🤣" Keep the boycott alive, one 3rd Grader at a time! Hearts & Minds NFL... Hearts & Minds! Quote
