Sure, you can try to win by shutting down the Best QB in the sport and the greatest TE of all time (one of which they've actually managed to consistently do) OR (and just hear me out here) You could just "trust the process" and execute the plays you should be able to against an entirely beatable defense. KC isn't exactly trotting out the 85 bears. Edited Monday at 10:08 PM by BullBuchanan 1 Quote

Edit: Oh forgot to add that Mahomes played with turf toe that required surgery days after that game too. Yeah if only those conditions could exist for our playoff games with KC. I’d like our chances then. Cincinnati already did that and blew us out with their backup OL 1 Quote

I think the Eagles have a great shot. Dominant Dline and superior rushing attack. Both are things KC weaknesses. Plus they have the revenge factor on their side. And Vegas made them a slight dog which is perfect for me as I will be betting on them. But even if they manage to beat KC it won’t take the sting out of yesterday’s loss. That’s a Bills thing that only the Bills can resolve by beating KC in the playoffs. Quote

He destroys blitzes. That’s Oliver’s role. He needs a quality rush DE next to him to really be effective tho. That’s need 1A for me. WR1 is 1B. Quote

BillMafia716ix Posted Monday at 10:31 PM Posted Monday at 10:31 PM (edited) #1 WR and pass rush. Corner is also priority too. Rasul Douglas is a free agent, older and his play is starting to slip and Elam is flat out bad. Im curious to see what they do with Von Miller and his contract. He was our only impactful player on the dline for most of the year and he was only playing 30% of snaps. If they move on from him, they have nothing on the edges. Groot was a disappointment this year Edited Monday at 10:35 PM by BillMafia716ix Quote

But those players are very difficult to find. Oliver had his best run with pre-injury Von Miller next to him. That’s how you make it work with him. Quote

However, once again, we dropped some games this year that we shouldn’t have, and played poorly in others that we still managed to win. Instead of looking for someone to blame, let’s just figure out what we need to do to field a better and more consistent team. Possibly a DC Upgrades at multiple positions right off the bat- WR, safety, corner, DL. Quote

He was like yeah maybe we should have switched up some formations. Do they even talk about this stuff during the week? From the very first one it was apparent KC figured it out, and had the beef on the DLine to stop it. Quote

I'm going out on a limb here and suggest if you tush push left and they have that covered the first thing to do would be try going right. "The Process" needs to add a couple added steps and a few more decision diamonds. How about have one of the staff monitor the stadium wall during the game to get real time feedback from members of this message board. Many posters here are very smart and know football very well and can give lots of hints and advice. for some reason the staff can't "think on their feet" during the game. Here the HC figured out they should have tried something different soon after the game was over. Raise your hand if watching the game you said tush push to the right? Quote
billmon06 Posted Tuesday at 12:25 AM Posted Tuesday at 12:25 AM I’m not a football guru, but the problems at wide receiver, defensive line, and a lock-down corner will probably not be solved any time soon. No cap space, and a poor draft position. My wife, daughter, and grandson attended the game. It’s rough to be a Bills fan at a game in KC. Too many obnoxious drunks. Quote

No cap space, and a poor draft position. Isn't a bunch of dead money coming off the books this offseason? We should have a little bit of wiggle room. Also, Chiefs found Worthy at pick 28. We found a stud RB in Cook at pick 60. Nailing a couple of our early round picks will go a long way towards bolstering our weaker areas. We were only 4 points and a couple makeable plays away from the Super Bowl. We are about as close as it gets without touching glory. And there's always hope that Coleman works his azz off and makes a huge leap in year two. He was very raw coming in as a rookie. Quote

That's how TB crushed them in the SB. The one sack by Phillips when he literally picked up and carried the guard back into Mahomes, he had no chance... Interior pocket pressure is more disruptive than anything else. Ya mean like what the Eagles are gonna do. Let’s copy that! Quote

Bills don't have an elite pass rusher and it hurt. Pretty sad that Mack Hollins was the only one who came to play. Cooper made some critical catches, but he is far from what I thought he’d be when he first got here. I’m really hoping a full offseason can whip him into shape. 2 hours ago, Thrivefourfive said: Ya mean like what the Eagles are gonna do. Let’s copy that! Eagles are going to lose. Kelly to Allen Posted Tuesday at 03:54 AM Posted Tuesday at 03:54 AM As Marv Levy told Bill Polian... " We're not good enough"... Polian was trying to play the what if game and Levy just told him the truth. We're lacking the needed 4-6 blue chip players around Allen and it just is what it is. McDermott is also a liability in the playoffs Quote
