That’s as good as a qb is gonna play against kc…we can nitpick him to death comparing it to a perfect performance and point out the plays missed but anyone is gonna miss some plays. I don’t like blaming one thing but we needed one more play from anyone and came up short Quote

They don't have enough talent on either side of the ball and not enough money or high enough draft picks to change it. They will middle around for 3 or 4 more years and then probably switch coaches. By that time Josh will be near the end of his career and despite a lot of good games the Bills will still not have a.championship. This! 1 Quote

Our offensive is our offense, that is not going to change this offseason. We are bringing everyone back, minus Cooper (but who cares). We will probably pay Groot, and the money we do have available will most likely go to our own guys. The Ravens are going to roll it back, the Chiefs are the Chiefs, and I have no reason to expect anything to change. We are the bridesmaid. We are the almost was. This right here is why you move on from McDermott. It is the only move you can make to possibly change the outcome. This thing is going nowhere and a change is needed. Let someone else try with this generational QB. People are so worried about who we replace the guy with. That doesn’t even matter at this point. If you bring McDermott back, you are guaranteed zero shot at a Super Bowl unless Mahomes tears up his knee and Reid has health problems and steps down and Lamar gets hurt. McDermott cannot do it. It’s never going to happen with him at the helm. Quote

Pretty much every call we needed went in the other direction. So many players just didn't show up tonight. Hollins & Cookie were clutch. Our DL/OL/ OC not so mutch. So sick & tired of JA having to do it all. 1 Quote

It's over because we didn't win it all in the year we were in a soft rebuild? Next year we'll be starting at 0 instead of 54m over the Cap. And when we extend Josh, move on from Von, and do other restructures and extensions - we will be able to build the roster better. We'll also have 10 Draft Picks, including 3 over the first 2 Rounds. This was the year we were supposed to have to eat a little crap. Having to fill the roster with whatever we could. Starting guys we shouldn't have been starting and having no depth. And with our best CB and Safety out against Playoff Pat - we still came within a dropped Kincaid pass of getting to the dance. It isn't over. This wasn't even our best shot at it, in my opinion. This was never a Super Bowl roster. Next year, we're in a position to build a much better team. 1 1 1 Quote

The problem in my eyes is that everyone has the opportunity to rebuild too. Everyone wants to get better, Dan Quinn is at the same position right here right now as Sean McDermott after one year compared to eight years. Sure they could be a flash in the pan and we've been consistent but they are picking one sport ahead of us next year. It seems like the five most critical people to our success actually don't play for Buffalo. Andy Reid, Steve Spagnuolo, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and Patrick Mahomes! Five first ballot hall of fame guys unfortunately, plus the Referees and Taylor Swift and yes we are potentially one catch away from winning or at least levelling the scores in the 4th quarter of the AFC championship game. Keeping the faith is difficult. Quote

Better than average players: Oliver, Benford. Average: Bernard, Johnson. Below average: everyone else, particularly interior DL. Abysmal: all our safeties. Milano may still get healthy and move back up the scale, but that wasn't this year. McD and Babich should get credit for patching together a defense that was statistically quite good despite a dearth of talent. They chose the talent. The Bills simply didn't make adjustments to what KC was doing to them. How many times did Mahomes run to his right and the Bills did nothing to counteract it? McDermott comment at the half was that his front four has to play better. Rousseau was BAD. That big nickel defense McDermott plays was getting abused by Andy Reid. Taron Johnson kept finding himself manned on Worthy. Like I said in another post, Andy Reid is a master at chess. Fitting way for the Bills to lose, a dropped pass by a TE😠 Quote

Goal is a championship not to simply be competitive and win more than you lose, not when you have a QB like Josh Allen. God, we fans act like children denied candy. We don't deserve to have this team. 1 1 Quote

He was the "all in" chips the center of the table move that immediately had a career ending injury for a player that age. That contract and the horrible play, coupled with the other "what if" signings the bills could have had with that massive contract money has haunted and will continue to haunt this team. Oh I agree. Totally. Yet, I also agreed with the gamble. Many fans talk about "wasting Josh's prime years". This was a move to win NOW. The injury really changed everything. Quote

We were inches from possible win, but since we lost, EVERYTHING is bad now. You (and many others) are acting like we are Jets or something. We just lost another 3 point game to a team that probably becomes the greatest dynasty in the history of NFL. It completely sucks but it doesn't mean that this team sucks and is doing everything wrong. I agree there may be some overreaction to the loss. Not much TBH. We trust in Josh so much, we give the teams shortcomings a pass. Elam is a massive liability. Where was Von last night? Hamlin is a liability when Rapp and Benford are out and they aren’t covering for him. Cooper who? Couldn’t get him involved in the regular season, or a game we needed him. Coleman? Won’t call him a bust, but he has a ton of work to do to get better. Brady did not call a great game. If they are expecting the “tush push” left off center and you give it to them how many times!! Need to peel off a TE or a RB for a pass in the flat. Just do something else. Defensive rush and containment was abysmal. This team does have a lot of shortcomings Allen covers up with his heroic play game after game. We choose to look past it because they had a heck of a season off Josh’s arm. Quote

I mean he's better than Hurts and now Hurts has two Super Bowl appearances. It's just the life of being in the same era as Mahomes. He's denying a lot of other QB's. Quote
