They can make plays at times, but they are not clutch whatsoever. Zero pass rush, really bad secondary. We need a better defense. I think this team greatly over achieved this year this one killed me… they pulled out a ton of wins I didn’t expect once they got past the Texans-ravens debacle early. I figured 10 wins, take the division but not a credible threat. Last weeks win started to get my buy in for real… and then here comes the 12 slot wr, no perimeter threat, no pass rush team that I saw on paper before the season we have Josh. It’s all pass rushers, and pass catchers now. The rest is noise. Quote
FireChans Posted Monday at 04:39 AM Posted Monday at 04:39 AM To me, it’s very simple. How many teams in the NFL would you swap rosters with? Take Josh Allen out. 2024 Giants - yes. They were a 3-14 team 2024 Raiders - yes. 4-13 team 2024 Titans - no. 3-14 team 2024 Browns - yes. 3-14 team 2024 Pats - no. 4-13 team. 3 of the 5 teams picking in the top 5 have way more non-QB talent that we do. This roster stinks. 1 Quote
Kelly to Allen Posted Monday at 04:41 AM Posted Monday at 04:41 AM Excellent roster builder and hit on a generational Hof QB. But there's zero blue chip players around Allen. Full stop. And now Allen has turned into this eras tragic hero 1 Quote

That it was Beane's suggestions in an unofficial capacity and possibly his board with how quickly he came on. But then when I say that, it's not right either. So I guess no one gets credit for the 2017 Draft. McDermott ran the 2017 draft with Whaley’s board. Brandon Beane worked in the Carolina FO during the 2017 draft. This is all known and ancient history. Its also not a coincidence that the 2017 draft is probably the second best draft in this era, only coming in second to 2018 because of Josh. Quote
Bermuda Triangle Posted Monday at 04:45 AM Posted Monday at 04:45 AM 1 hour ago, Chaos said: What are we blaming Beane for? A defensive scheme that can't stop top offensives in the post season every year? Special teams that are bad in every game? Because those seem like coaching problems, not personnel problems. I think the problem the Bills have is that they are stale. five minutes into this game, fans on this board were posting various versions of "here we go again", and most of those comments turned out to be correct. Having zero difference makers on defense and 1 or 2 on offense? handing out poor contracts, and poor drafting? Quote
Floydboy12 Posted Monday at 04:47 AM Posted Monday at 04:47 AM Elam will be cut. Coleman is never gonna be more than a 2nd or 3rd receiver. Trading the chance to take Worthy is an epic fail. I still have hope for Kincaid, although something definitely happened to him this year. The problem the Bills have is there isn’t much they can do. They can’t scuttle the whole roster. They’re going into the off-season with the same holes they had this time last year. Quote

Really well the track record of TBD calling players trash is pretty bad, Brown Bass, Knox, 2 years ago Dawkins are a few that come to mind. If players on the Bills roster could be voted off the team by fans they' all been gone along time ago along with others that have turned out well. The problem is poster have zero patience, if a guy's not all pro by 2nd year, get rid of him is the mind set here. Quote

26TrapDraw Posted Monday at 02:11 PM Posted Monday at 02:11 PM You don’t have to blame him for picks he missed. His team is sitting on their couch today because of the weak ass Defense he put together and thought would be fine. How’d that work out Brandon? Quote

Don't forget the Bills took Kincaid ahead of Sam LaPorta. They even traded up...Ugh... If they wanted a 2nd TE they did not even get the best TE available... In hindsight the big miss outside of Puka Nacua and LaPorta in the Kincaid Draft looks to be Jayden Reed who went #50 overall and is a good WR... The Elam Draft pick was a joke. They could have had Pickens and Riq Woolen in that Draft. But Beane never listens to me...lol I was not a big Coleman guy last off season. But it's tough not to like the kid... I really liked (more like loved) Legette who looked OK in a bad offense as a Rookie, and McConkey who was a monster... I still can't believe the Bills like Coleman over McConkey because Ladd is much more the type of WR they have preferred in the past. 1 Quote
PBF81 Posted Monday at 03:02 PM Posted Monday at 03:02 PM Well, all I know is that the Chiefs took a bunch of incredibly average skill position players on offense and just posted their best offensive game of the year against us. Quote

You know who else he Drafted? Josh Allen. James Cook. Khalil Shakir. Christian Benford (who would have made a difference if he wasn't concussed). Spencer Brown. Dion Dawkins. Matt Milano (wasn't "officially" in the room - but he surely played a hand). O'Cyrus Torrence. Greg Rousseau. He brought in Mack Hollins when everyone thought he was worthless (without him, we wouldn't have stayed close). He built a team on peanuts this year that made it to the AFC Championship Game. I know we're all hurt and looking for people to blame. But there's misses from the best GM's league wide. The Draft is a crap shoot and his success rate isn't bad. That's less than one impact player a year. That's a horrible record Quote
