That being said, drafting aside with better playcalling this roster wins tonight.  The tush push was clearly figured out and an inability to run anything else killed us.

1st round picks - besides Josh! - have been duds. But he has done a great job elsewhere and in FA. 

 

As much as I can't stand the sight of Kincaid right now, I give it another season for sure to prove himself. Elam though, damn. And Worthy has proven way more useful than Coleman.

We desperately need a number 1 receiver. I'm sorry but our defense is not good. They can make plays at times, but they are not clutch whatsoever. Zero pass rush, really bad secondary. We need a better defense. I think this team greatly over achieved this year

One of the two,  for sure.  Yes,  they went further into the playoffs than this roster had any right to,  but as I said in the McDermott thread, you can't have a defense that gives up 30+ points per game in playoff losses and goes 0-4 against the same team in the playoffs.  There has to be some accountability at the top and something has to change.

What are we blaming Beane for?  A defensive scheme that can't stop top offensives in the post season every year? Special teams that are bad in every game? 

Because those seem like coaching problems, not personnel problems.  

I think the problem the Bills have is that they are stale.   five minutes into this game, fans on this board were posting various versions of "here we go again", and most of those comments turned out to be correct.

Coleman isn't a 1st Round Pick and he's a Rookie WR. Elam shouldn't have been on the field. 

 

You know who else he Drafted? Josh Allen. James Cook. Khalil Shakir. Christian Benford (who would have made a difference if he wasn't concussed). Spencer Brown. Dion Dawkins. Matt Milano (wasn't "officially" in the room - but he surely played a hand). O'Cyrus Torrence. Greg Rousseau. He brought in Mack Hollins when everyone thought he was worthless (without him, we wouldn't have stayed close). He built a team on peanuts this year that made it to the AFC Championship Game.

 

I know we're all hurt and looking for people to blame. But there's misses from the best GM's league wide. The Draft is a crap shoot and his success rate isn't bad.

This is the problem. Our defense is terrible. Like terrible. And I have little use for McDermott if that is going to continue.

Elam certainly has been a bust, but to label  the other Coleman and Kincaid is way to soon.

Fans should have been questioning him for years now.  Every year the defensive line fails to show up despite the capital invested in it.  Coleman and Bishop were invisible tonight, it's too early to clown this class though.  Kincaid doesn't look like a serious offensive threat, Elam is a bust, Rousseau is meh (worst defensive lineman tonight), Basham was a bust, Epenesa is meh, and Oliver/Ford are busts.  He finds pieces here and there but overall there's too many misses.  

 

It once again comes down to the same question.  Who's the bigger problem, the GM or coaching staff?  That question won't be solved because McDermott and Beane are a package deal.  This is the issue with the coach hiring his personal GM.  We aren't getting one without the other despite one aspect needing to be replaced.

You seem like you just have to find a boogyman to blame. 

 

Elam is a dud, it is still too early on the others.  Two years ago it was day two picks people complained about then a bunch of them developed.

Beane didn't draft Dawkins, Milano, or White.  If we give him credit for those picks then we also have to talk about him skipping out on potentially the greatest QB of all time.

Fire all of em. Josh is gonna leave us and it will be 100% justifiable because of coaching and lack of talent.  If he isn’t perfect we don’t win most of the time.  The few playmakers we have we refuse to use ie cook.  How many times we gonna do the ***** bull####
