Needing a better defensive scheme is an indictment of McD (it's his D). Needing better players is an indictment of Beane (he picked the players). Other than Allen what top level, take over a game in a championship moment talent do we have? KC has Mahomes, Kelce & Jones. We have Allen. I just don't have any faith these 2 can get it done for us. I don't see it changing. Hope I'm wrong, but I can't point to anything right now to say otherwise.

One play sequence really got to me on Bills drive where they turned it over on downs.

3rd and 4 and Kincaid catches a screen pass and it looks like the refs spotted him too short. His knee and elbow weren't down before the ball landed on the 1st down markers.  McD doesn't challenge and instead they try to quickly run a tush push, but they have the wrong guys on the field. You end up with Josh being pushed by Kincaid with one arm, as opposed to Ty, or Knox or someone stronger. 

 

those type of in-game, quick calls seem to be McD's weakness.

 

Otherwise, I think he coached a pretty good game

I stand by what I have said all this year.

 

McDermott gets next year to win a title or he should be fired.

 

Allen is 29 next year. Half of his career is now gone.

 

McDermott is not entitled to the rest of Allen’s career. Neither is Beane.

Bills fans have endured way too much heartache over the years. Too many people here just happy to be relevant. We deserve more. Hell josh deserves more. It’s just a matter of time before the players start to lose faith. Psychologically it is going to start taking its toll in the locker room.  If it hasn’t started already.

It's why Diggs had to go. He's the only guy in the locker room to call out McDermott as a loser. So he got traded away and we got outcoached again.

Josh Allen air show led the NFL in turnovers.  This was the best offense we have had yet.  
 

Sure add more talent, WR will be a priority and no it shouldn’t be Cooper unless he’s cheap.

 

But to try and force some air it out attack again is to take a step back.  Had our defense not stunk most the game we would have won.  We put up 29 and lost to a team who hadn’t scored 30 all year.  In the other 18 games KC played this year 29 would have beaten them.  
 

We definitely need to address WR, but we also badly need to address the secondary at CB and S as well as the DL this offseason.

OMG! I was too depressed to post after the game but then I read your post. Totally agree!!! As a loyal Bills fan for over 50 years I TOTALLY agree. We will be good in the future but will never win big and will most likely regress. This was a watershed game for me. We are not ever coming back after this. Good seasons to come after this but will never win a championship unless changes are made. McDermotts  D while good during the season will NEVER win big in the playoffs. As Mike Ness says, we will always be a day late and a dollar short. And as Metallica says, Sad but True!!!☹️👎😡.

Josh is phenomenal.  He wasn't tonight.  He also doesn't play in an offensive system.   He plays sandlot football which is fun.  Mahomes, Brady and the greats are machines because they know where to go within their system.  Our Offense is a scramble drill.

That’s my point…. Everyone loses to Kansas City except three games.   It’s not just McDermott.
