We need a better defensive scheme and better players. Period. Needing a better defensive scheme is an indictment of McD (it's his D). Needing better players is an indictment of Beane (he picked the players). Other than Allen what top level, take over a game in a championship moment talent do we have? KC has Mahomes, Kelce & Jones. We have Allen. I just don't have any faith these 2 can get it done for us. I don't see it changing. Hope I'm wrong, but I can't point to anything right now to say otherwise. 1 Quote

I put this loss and losses on Beane. He just hasn't got this team to a championship defense. He's too loose with draft picks and has paid the wrong guys a lot of times. You want Josh to not have to be superman, get him a defense and some deep threat of offense. Looking like Worthy would have been more of a playmaker than Coleman. In the 2025 draft I want one speed wr and all D. New line DL, more S and CBs. Bills needs to get some safeties /a corner and legit receiver Quote
PauleeeWalnuts Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Marty Schottenheimer 2.0. He’s going to win you a bunch of games but never the one that counts 2 3 1 Quote

harmonkillebrew Posted Monday at 04:02 AM Posted Monday at 04:02 AM One play sequence really got to me on Bills drive where they turned it over on downs. 3rd and 4 and Kincaid catches a screen pass and it looks like the refs spotted him too short. His knee and elbow weren't down before the ball landed on the 1st down markers. McD doesn't challenge and instead they try to quickly run a tush push, but they have the wrong guys on the field. You end up with Josh being pushed by Kincaid with one arm, as opposed to Ty, or Knox or someone stronger. those type of in-game, quick calls seem to be McD's weakness. Otherwise, I think he coached a pretty good game Quote

Straight Hucklebuck Posted Monday at 04:04 AM Posted Monday at 04:04 AM I stand by what I have said all this year. McDermott gets next year to win a title or he should be fired. Allen is 29 next year. Half of his career is now gone. McDermott is not entitled to the rest of Allen’s career. Neither is Beane. Quote

Too many people here just happy to be relevant. We deserve more. Hell josh deserves more. It’s just a matter of time before the players start to lose faith. Psychologically it is going to start taking its toll in the locker room. If it hasn’t started already. 1 1 Quote

So he got traded away and we got outcoached again. 1 1 Quote

I've been saying this for several years and tonight only makes me feel more certain about it. The defense is not going to be what saves us. We need to have an offense capable of putting up 40 on KC. Make the defense practically a non-factor. Two years in a row we've tried to slay the dragon with small ball grind it out football. It's not working. Give me the Josh Allen air show while still retaining the ability to run the ball. Josh Allen air show led the NFL in turnovers. This was the best offense we have had yet. Sure add more talent, WR will be a priority and no it shouldn’t be Cooper unless he’s cheap. But to try and force some air it out attack again is to take a step back. Had our defense not stunk most the game we would have won. We put up 29 and lost to a team who hadn’t scored 30 all year. In the other 18 games KC played this year 29 would have beaten them. We definitely need to address WR, but we also badly need to address the secondary at CB and S as well as the DL this offseason. 2 Quote

McDermotts day will come but first we need to restock the shelves in the WR, LB, DT and CB. oline, Rb,Qb are set. That’s because Reid didn’t have Mahomes. Mcd does have Allen. Quote

Johnnieo64 Posted Monday at 04:09 AM Posted Monday at 04:09 AM OMG! I was too depressed to post after the game but then I read your post. Totally agree!!! As a loyal Bills fan for over 50 years I TOTALLY agree. We will be good in the future but will never win big and will most likely regress. This was a watershed game for me. We are not ever coming back after this. Good seasons to come after this but will never win a championship unless changes are made. McDermotts D while good during the season will NEVER win big in the playoffs. As Mike Ness says, we will always be a day late and a dollar short. And as Metallica says, Sad but True!!!☹️👎😡. 1 Quote
JimmyNoodles Posted Monday at 04:10 AM Posted Monday at 04:10 AM Yes McD has to go…as of 2 years ago. With that said there’s lots of screw ups today. Quote

It's getting old, I want someone who can beat Reid in the playoffs, anybody can lose to him, McD has proven that. Quote
