That sounds like pretty awful logic to me, since we have no idea what the game would have looked like by that point if things in the first quarter were dramatically different.

 

Ultimately, Allen put the team in the position to convert the 4th (despite ridiculous and immediate pressure) and they let him down.  Then the defense had a shot to get the ball back so we would have a chance and they let him down.

 

I'll never blame the only player on my team that I know I could never part with in a re-draft. Especially when he drags us to wins we have no business getting.

Zero chance. Nor would I want too unless you can guarantee an upgrade, but what coaches that are available can walk in and for sure do better? McD is a good maybe even great coach, but your good/great coach is going against the greatest offensive mind in big games in NFL history paired with an elite QB and elite pass rusher. It's a nearly impossible team to beat in the playoffs without some amount of luck, and frankly the bills are arguably the most unlucky team in recent playoff history when it comes to key starters being healthy against the chiefs. I mean that's 2 years in a row with arguably the most important defensive players out playing a healthy chiefs. The bills won't fire McD, but they may never beat andy Reid either.

Come on...McDermott overachieved. Coleman was invisible, and Kincaid was once again a major disappointment. Also still no difference maker on the dline. I can't believe how bad Rosseau was. How comfortable do you feel handing him a big contract?

 

Bryan Thomas Jr. Anyone? How come he's not a Bill. We have this big arm QB, and we continue to refuse to arm him. It's almost becoming a fireable offense.

I've been as critical of Sean as anyone.  He did a great job with this roster.  I put this loss and losses on Beane.   He just hasn't got this team to a championship defense.  He's too loose with draft picks and has paid the wrong guys a lot of times.   You want Josh to not have to be superman, get him a defense and some deep threat of offense.  Looking like Worthy would have been more of a playmaker than Coleman.   In the 2025 draft I want one speed wr and all D.   New line DL, more S and CBs.

He needs to hire a DC from the outside and change this scheme that gets crushed every year in the playoffs by KC

you are missing a lot of details.  Tampa Bay fired Tony Dungy after an underachieving season that saw his team go 9-7

 

Philadelphia fired Reid after going 8-8 and 4-12.  
 

They didn’t fire either coach after reading the AFCCG

How about getting some players in here that can play defense and not give up huge chunks of yardage on almost every drive. Von Miller, Greg Russeau, and AJ epinesa did nothing to help this team win tonight. Russeau lost contain at least four times is Mahomes kept dancing over the right side for first downs. And we had no depth in the defensive backfield as Elam our number one pick played like a street free agent. Time to beef up the defensive line and the defensive backfield. Our offense scored 29 points on the road in a championship game and it was defense that won the game.

Without exaggeration the next head coach Terry Pegula hires could actually be a soccer coach…literally.

For a coach who's scheme and learning was under Jim Johnson in Philly and the vaunted Double A gap formation, he's had some really sub par defensive performances. We all know KC runs spinner roll out right in big moments and we don't have a defensive play call to stop it. Where as KC knows Allen rolls out right in big moments or tries to sneak left...KC had their defense ready for both. I get it, this is frustration of falling short again, but at some point we need to buck the trend of falling short in KC again and again and again 

everyone falls short to Kansas City.  Philadelphia is going to fall short in 2 weeks

If they can sign another good+ DLineman on free agency with the same money, bye bye Rousseau. Otherwise, yeah you resign him. But not a huge contract. Sorry, he didn't prove worthy of the super big buck$.

Here’s a fun stat. The Chiefs have scored 34.75 points per game against the Bills in the playoffs. In their other playoff games those seasons (2020,2021,2023,2024) the chiefs have only scored only 23.5 points per game.

Josh rolled right into the pressure.  If he reads the pressure and rolls the other way he likely trots to a first down or even better finds Shakir who the play was meant to go to.    He messed up.  I love the guy but he messed up.
