Is it time to move on from McDermott?

The Bills using that rush push bull#### every play is crap. I can see using it when your inside a yard but they over used that stupid play.

 

If we keep McD I would rather see the Bills trade Josh for 3 1st rd picks

Having said that, if I was McD, I'd say by myself that I resign next year if we don't make SB.

He's never going to be good enough when it matters. Andy absolutely OWNS him.  Great guy, good coach yes. So I am one who wants to see McDermott gone but what options are out there now? Ben Johnson and Vrabel are already gone. Promote Joe Brady? I hope the poor play calling was from McDermott playing conservative but you never know. 

 

I know it sounds crazy but I'd call Belichick and tell him he has to keep Brady. I still doubt he does it but the Bills need a new Defensive Mind Set


All of this won't happen because the Pegulas are afraid if they fire McDermott the Bills will end up like the Sabres

But Alen needs to be perfect to win. A SB caliber team shouldn't be relying on just one player. 

 

 

Great qbs take the ball down the field and win the game.  Josh is a hell of a player but he isn't there yet and may never be.

Mahomes had guys open without any resistance from the Bills all night.  Mahomes' runs were the most impressive part of his day. 

Allen put the ball into the hands of Kincaid that final. He needs to make that catch. Seems pretty asinine to blame a QB who hit his target in the hands under duress

We’ll never know, but I guarantee instead of the failed tush push, we run play action on fourth and one, we probably take a 29-21 lead.

Allen was terrible in the first quarter and a half of football.  I agree Kincaid needs to make that catch but if Josh has a better game he probably doesn't need to.

Belichek buy out isn't worth it. Something like 10 million, wants to be at NC and nothing is changing that. I'd like to see someone come in from a Shanhan or McVay tree but at this point something needs to change

Does anyone else notice that McD looks very nervous and lacking in confidence on the sideline in big games? That demeanor is infectious, and for a guy who prides himself on the impact of culture, I wish he’d recognize that.

McDermotts defense has been the same in the playoffs for 7 seasons now, they do ok in the rgular season but no pass rush, too undersized along the DL and LB and no depth when injuries occur. Why is Elam even on this team? How do we let Hamlin become a starter alll season? I get we were in rebuild mode but there was literally nobody for the money more athletic than Hamlin? Why did we sign the guy from KC and then never let him play then cut him? It seems like more of the same. 8 years as HC and we do not have 1 elite defensive player, not a single 1. We have alot of decent to really good players but where is our Chris Jones? You've had 8 years and Beane is just as accountable, how do you have 8 years and not a single elite player on the defense?

And its sucks, BAD. But one loss is in OT, tonight by 3 points. I mean, it's football. Just like everyone seems to forget the Chiefs won the SB in OT last year. People speak as if they are dominating everyone. Yes, they find a way to win! That matters, and it sucks. But come on.
