Playing not to lose vs. playing to win is a huge difference. Another year goes by of Josh Allen’s prime without reaching the Super Bowl. This is Dwayne Casey and Nick Nurse to me. it’s fine that his team is good. If they, continuously, aren’t good enough in the biggest moments, I want someone else calling the shots. we’ve had this conversation many times and somehow here we are again Quote
GunnerBill Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM Is there a better GM available? One that doesnt blow his first pick three years running? If so can we hire him? 5 1 Quote
buffblue Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM Posted yesterday at 03:23 AM McDermott seemed downright content in his press conference 1 Quote
transient Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM McDermott’s playoff defense makes it imperative that Allen plays a perfect every year, or they will lose. Look at how easy of a night Mahomes had compared to Spag’s defense that Allen had to face. Under the circumstances, with almost the same stats, all the media will talk about is how great Mahomes is despite Allen having had to face 10x the pressure and playing his ass off. Kincaid let him down tremendously on that desperation heave while getting sacked that hit him in the hands. Credit to KC’s defense for shutting down the Bills on 3rd and 4th and 1. It was the difference in the game. Wish we had a defense that we could rely on to do that… 1 Quote
ghostwriter Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM Posted yesterday at 03:24 AM (edited) With Allen as our QB, Buffalo can have just about any coach that they want. Edited yesterday at 03:24 AM by ghostwriter Quote

I think Beane has been skating far too long personally. This game was like his personal referendum. Send them both packing to turn Carolina back into a Wild card team. That’s what they are really good at. 1 Quote

Man with No Name Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM we are never getting rid of mcdermott. the best we can hope for is pegula demanding he hire somebody to have complete autonomy on defense. But again, our biggest flaw tonight was not being able to pick 1 and 2 yards when we needed it. 1 Quote

The answer is , maybe, maybe not, it’s like being in QB purgatory, but with a HC, what can be done to improve this Defense so we can get over this barrier…, GO BILLS!!! I think McDermott gets out-coached more often then not in these playoff games . It seems like the other team comes up with something that we never adjust to. Tonight it was the Chiefs letting Mahomes run more and Chiefs defence preparing well for our tush-push Quote

tigerthelion Posted yesterday at 03:27 AM Posted yesterday at 03:27 AM Beane and McDermott should both be gone. They have had more than enough time with this team. However, Pegula makes decisions based on his emotions rather than his head so here we are. Fans who want to keep both Beane and McDermott are obviously happy with never making a SB appearance. Like the Bills brass, they are happy with the status quo and scared of change. 1 2 Quote

You are aware that we just allowed Reid's offense to post a season high performance, right? BTW, that includes what the 32nd defensively ranked Carolina Panthers allowed. 1 1 Quote
