The 4th down spot was bad. The top line judge had it a 1st and was talked out of it. Let's not kid ourselves, the refs did their part. 1 1 3 Quote
Maynard Posted Monday at 05:07 AM Posted Monday at 05:07 AM The whole ref excuse getting old at this point. Could have executed better many times on offense and defense. 1 1 2 1 Quote

DrMaxPower Posted Monday at 05:14 AM Posted Monday at 05:14 AM I'm not going to blame the refs for the loss. There were more player eff ups than officiating eff ups. That said, to deny we got screwed on a few super critical plays is crazy. There was a narrative about Chiefs favoritism among the NFL world prior to this game. This isn't exactly putting those concerns to bed. 2 Quote
86poker Posted Monday at 05:17 AM Posted Monday at 05:17 AM My question is why did the ref who could only see Josh's back have final say on where the ball was spotted. The ref on the other side was clearly marking it a first, had a better visual of the actual ball in Josh's hands but yet they gave the guy that couldn't even see the ball mark the spot? 1 1 Quote

Buffalo Dude Posted Monday at 05:24 AM Posted Monday at 05:24 AM I’ve gone from hosting SuperBowl parties to having no interest in this one. The refs can’t continue favoring the same team and it not be rigged in some way. Bills lost it anyway. But these calls are so weird. Gene (the old head ref) sees it. Why does it always go in KCs favor? weird enough for me to lose interest just a little and enough for me to not really care 1 Quote

Why not take your time, settle down, and at least try to hard count the offside before snapping it? 4- If not for rushing this 4th down play, maybe the retired ref would have had time to phone down to McDermott? 5- Josh made the first down on that 4th down play. The ref on the far side of the field had it marked as a first down. It was a bad spot. I was wondering why no sky judge? Or NY or whatever to come in and say "yeah he got it" 1 Quote
86poker Posted Monday at 05:31 AM Posted Monday at 05:31 AM BTW is this the first time replay assist was used (the bills didn't challenge the spot) and the play wasn't overturned? Quote

The D held their own. the 1st down spot on allen's 4th down run was awful. it made a difference. Dude. The Bills D got 3 stops on the Chiefs - a fumble and 2 punts. The Chiefs D got 4 stops on the Bills - 2 punts and 2 TOD. One more stop. That's what it comes down to. It's hard to win championships if your defense can't get 4 stops. Quote

This isn't an opinion. This isn't a Bills fan crying about the refs after the Bills got sent home by Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for the fourth time in five years. This is conclusive, undeniably incorrect, and it potentially cost the Bills the game. And it happed more than once. There were multiple plays throughout the game that were questionable, but on two different plays that happened back-to-back, the officials missed it, and it crippled Buffalo's chances. ..." TrentEdwardsCheckDownOn4th Posted Monday at 05:36 AM Posted Monday at 05:36 AM Practically every nfl teams sub reddit has a post about not watching the super bowl. I've never in my life seen anything like this. I don't plan on watching. Does anyone think numbers will actually drop or are people just being reactionary ? I cant imagine nfl fans outside of Philadelphia or KC being excited for this rematch 2 Quote
