If they are gonna play the charade of not releasing the data from the ball, chip, sensor on play... Why NOT trot out the sticks/chains? NOTICE you never see chains anymore? Players can't be always making 1st Downs so easily now than throughout game history. Refs are getting help from sources other than the chain gang obviously! 2 1 Quote

That spot on 4th you can argue about but next time don't get stuffed. They got the necessary yards for a first. I guess they should’ve broke off a 5-10 yard run to make it truly indisputable. 5 Quote

Still the wrong playcall on 4th.....I fell strongly about that, it was close and you let the zebras decide. They shoudl have had a different play with the way the QB sneaks were going. yep kept calling for an Allen sweep that we have seen many times Quote

Phantom PI against Elam prevented a Chiefs' punt. Successful 4th down QB sneak in the 4th quarter inexplicably became the Chiefs' ball. Penalty flag against the Chiefs on the Bills' last play was picked up with no explanation. This isn't rocket science. Refs know exactly when and where to have the biggest impact while making things seem close. It's all fixed. They got screwed on the 4th and inches on the spot and even the previous spot on 3 and 3. End of the day the Bills knew they should not leave it up to the refs, on 3rd down call a play that is well beyond the sticks. if you don't make then punt and not give the Chiefs great field position. The play calling was too conservative, not enough down the field throws Quote

But the bigger issue to me was the over-reliance on Josh on 4th and short when it was getting stuffed going back to last week so I get your point. Yeah, they got entirely too reliant on it over the course of the year and never really developed anything to complement it. Asking Josh to move laterally before he drives is not a viable variation. 1 Quote

That’s funny I’m on the opposite side and that’s the only hose job against kc we’ve had in my opinion lol I guess it is what it is but you’ve gotta be 7-10 points better than kc to win a game like that... nobody is winning that game 7 minutes ago, appoo said: The refs bungling the spot was the KEY play of the game If it was just that one spot I wouldn’t have minded much but it was seemingly every spot. notpolian Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Posted Monday at 04:01 AM Simple. Don't put yourself in a position to be vulnerable to a call / spot or two. Shouldn't matter. This team is not good enough and not well coached enough to win against KC if KC brings their A game. Easy example is we were almost unstoppable this year on the QB sneak and KC basically kicked our butts. Inexcusable from an execution and imagination standpoint IMO. 1 Quote

It’s a huge problem year after year after year. Nothing is being done about it and it is greatly diluting their product. Fans are catching on. The “script” has been a popular catchphrase these past few years. You’re right. It’s not a Bills problem, it’s an NFL problem. And people are just going to keep watching. That’s why it’s not being addressed. I am embarrassed about all the hours i waste posting here. The NFL was not like this when I was growing up. It seems like things started to go down hill after the “tuck rule” but ever since they got in bed w/ the gambling companies, it’s been rampant. 8 minutes ago, PromoTheRobot said: Or just get a full yard, like they did all year on that sneak play. 🙄 They crossed the 40. It's nice to say, it's only an inch so run it back but they showed a pretty strong ability to stuff it all game. We just never developed more off it during the season. Quote

I think it would make us a stronger, wiser and more respected fanbase if we recognized our shortcomings regarding crying about officiating. And if it takes somebody occasionally being a pest about it, I'll fill that role. I'm not going to crusade about it but I will toss the occasional firecracker in hopes it forces people to stop and think about it. Quote
