For years I denied the conspiracy theories.  After Sunday, I no longer deny.  I will not watch the Chiefs Bowl and plan to only watch Bills games in the future.  The NFL is greed over product.  I am done until it changes.

I’ve alwyas thought that there was some ref bias in the nfl-  never sure what rhyme or reason other than being in favor of the better teams-  but I’ve always tuned into every game.

now-  I think I’ve had my fill.  This last Bills game really has me feeling a certain way.  Several calls that could’ve gone either way- each of them went in favor of KC.  The many awful spots really has me very angry.  There were at least 4 in which which were dam close to clear first downs in which we were marked short.  Not even short… but an entire yard short. What should’ve been 1-6 inches- turned out to be 3-4 feet short.  Coopers and Cooks catch’s were the most egregious.  Just awful spots.

so I don’t think I’ll be tuning into the Super Bowl this year.  Not that the nfl will care- more so that I really dgaf about it this season.

Bill Burr this week said he doesn’t feel the games are rigged, but they are massaged.

Justin Tucker approves this message.

Swift has NOTHING to do with KC being back in the SB.  The number of intelligent posters who have spouted this is mind boggling to me.

Just curious what you will be waiting for as a sign when you say “I am done until it changes”?

Hilarious that James Cool, an actual player, doesn’t blame the refs but a few fans do. It’s crazy and makes us look like crybabies.

Refs can suck. But there were plenty of ways to win that game. Losers make excuses. Winners find solutions.

Not so sure about that.

One thing I can guarantee is there will be FAR LESS parties, gatherings, get togethers etc to watch the game.  Zero enthusiasm for it is a bigger deal then if some eyeballs tune in, then change the channel after the Chiefs go up 17-3.

Which is why I strongly suspect the game to go like it did the last time they met.

Eagles up whole game or it’s close.  NFL knows people will not change the channel if that’s happening.

If the Chiefs go up by 2 scores early ratings will absolutely plummet.

Why can’t we just have a fair Fing game? NFL is trash. I hate when people say it’s the officials being inept or human error. It’s blatant favoritism. Hence the Chiefs getting practically nothing but pre-snap penalties. I would love to see the data not just on the amount of flags, but WHEN they were thrown. I want to see this data for every Bills/Chiefs postseason matchup since 2020. How do you beat a team 4 times in the regular season, but can’t even get one win in the playoffs? Because ultimately KC is going to make the playoffs regardless of a regular season W so I think the refs just let them play. Remember that beast mode TD run by Josh to put the game away? That’s the type of ***** that would get a holding flag in the playoffs.

Also, winning SEVENTEEN consecutive one score games is fishy in itself. I know that Mahomes is good, but it’s the freaking NFL. That’s sketchy af

Again - if you truly believe the league is fixed, don’t bet on games.  It’s stupid of you, and losing gambling revenue is the only way the league will get serious about fixing officiating.

The Chiefs were +160 to win the SB before the championship game. Could have made a good amount on money betting on a team that the league is rigged for.

The sad thing is, his off the field antics, ego and persona are going to lead people to deem him just being “T.O.” and “going off on a random nonsense rant”.

There’s weight to it. Especially with a guy who played at a high level for 15 years and was around first hand for a lot of the rule changes we see that team benefit from.

Sad, cause like others have said in this thread, things aren’t changing.  Especially not anytime soon.

We’re using TO as a source now? The guy who ruined almost every team he was on.

hiw come none of the current players are crying? This how pathetic our society is. You can’t just lose because you weren’t good enough. Nope, everything must be rigged if you don’t win!!!

imagine how big of losers we think Ravens fans were if this happened to them.  Such a sad look.

Maybe, maybe not, but the refs were and converting a bunch of Swift fans certainly doesn’t hurt NFL revenue.

Didn’t say it was accurate but his weight has more value than others who cry about it.

Why? Because you have the ability to be fined as an active player? Doesn’t take that much thought process as to why guys stay quiet or the ones who don’t do it in an indirect manner.

I’m open to listen to someone who’s in the HOF and player 15 seasons. Doesn’t mean I agree with him or not.

You can’t say this without 100% certainty. Would you stake your entire life savings and assets behind this claim? Or is it plausible to believe there’s a chance (however slight) that her presence creates a bias, either consciously or subconsciously?

They cut to this woman in the suite every time the Chiefs make a positive play, she’s great (free) marketing for the NFL. Put it this way…

Taylor is not on Michael Jackson’s level, but let’s say Michael was an unabashed Bills fan who attended lots of games and had cameras  cutting to him in celebration after positive plays. Would that have been great for the league and the Bills image? Is it possible his presence could’ve caused an element of bias however small?

I’m not claiming the NFL is rigged, or fixed, but I do believe there’s a bias in officiating towards the Chiefs. We can speculate as to the why. Or maybe you believe their postseason games are called fairly…

Sure, keep your head in the sand and dismiss all possibility of bias. Doesn’t matter what either of us believes anyway.

The Chiefs won and Bills fans complaining about officiating is a bad look. Unfortunately the ball placements by these old guys, 20 yds away and camouflaged by 8 monstrous humans was obviously poor and lends itself to a bias accusation or at best just incompetence. Advancements in technology used in other sports coupled with the NFL’s undeniable connection to sports betting makes you wonder why team owners won’t call for a better system to give the game more credibility. The call denying Buffalo of the 1st down at the end of the game before KC kicked the winning FG was a game changing mistake that any objective observer could see and taints the outcomes of the biggest game of the year. If you’re going to push betting so hard like the NFL does, you would hope that Goodell would at least make a statement acknowledging the mistake and say they will explore a better system for placements.

Fitz the Harvard grad has the best idea I've heard so far.  This is brilliant.
