What triggers the sky judge is an absolute mystery to me.  They need to set rules/standards for the sky judge to keep things fair.  I'm just talking in general about it.

I'm at the point I'd just get rid of all replay. It's looking for a utopia within the context of subjective calls. It's just annoying now

Nobody knows what a catch is. It's just silly imo

I will say this once again about the third down spot......that happened right in front of the Bills bench.  AND if you take a minute and watch the replay....his elbow is down before he extends the ball.  ....so again...the Bills entire bench was staring right at this in real time....IF they saw a bad spot, they surely would have challenged it...and I am sure someone is in Seans ear telling him they'd seen the replay and it was a good spot...no challenge.  No need to wast the timeout there.

If you disagree with this then make a case why there was no challenge flag thrown?

When his elbow lands, the entire ball is across the line, watch the slow replay that's posted.

The better question might be why were the Bills constantly being marked short by a foot or two of first downs all night when it appeared they got enough for the first down?  When Nantz starts complaining about the spots constantly being moved back after he says it's a first down something seems a little strange...been watching football 40+ years and can't say I've ever seen that happen THAT many times in a game to the same team.

Need to get that game in Buffalo next year, I know we lost to them in Buffalo before. But there's less chance of BS calls in your home stadium.  Get the dang bye one of these years.

Look I'm not a conspiracy theorist.

However, I do have a significant background in ice hockey. Hockey referees miss calls yes, but in general practice there is the infamous even up call. The culture within the hockey world is for the referees to not want to impact outcomes. To keep the games as safe and fair as possible. In the NFL it's something different going on. THE ODDS WOULD APPEAR TO BE ASTRONOMICAL OF GETTING SO MANY CLOSE CALLS TO GO IN ONE DIRECTION. And, some would argue across many games. How does this happen? Is it the NFL philosophy of we have to get it right? Yet they refuse to keep it at only a select group of plays are reviewable and not all plays as some like Belichick wanted. It just seems to easy to say this is just coincidence. WHAT SAY YOU ALL? keep it rational please, the odds really bother me and it's not just Bills/Chiefs games. What the hell is going on?

There’s no conspiracy.  We’ve seen all season that NFL referees are incompetent and inconsistent and their process is antiquated and insufficient.

I understand what you're saying, and I want to feel that as well. But, it seems like they're are some odds defying things that have occurred over a period of games and multiple teams ( not just bills/chiefs)

There is incompetence and inconsistency but also bias.   Not saying the refs are out there to outright rig the games but they certainly can show favoritism to certain teams.

I agree with this about the bias. I mean everyone at the NFL offices knows which matchups are preferred money makers.

There's been a chip in the ball since 2015... Were they getting inaccurate data??

This was the 2nd most watched non-SB game.  The first was in 1988.  Guess who was in that game! 😏

"...To McAfee’s credit, he mentioned that the AFC Championship, which featured the Chiefs taking on the Buffalo Bills on January 26, was the second most-watched non Super Bowl game in NFL history. Averaging 57.7 million viewers, it is officially the most-watched AFC Championship game since 1988. Implying that the noise online doesn’t reflect in the viewership numbers, the challenge has officially been laid out for fans to make good on their threats to boycott this year’s game. ..."

How can we get a copy of this video ?

All of that and then i've heard that Chris Jones was lining up in the neutral zone most of the game and the Bills players were calling for the refs to make a call on him and didn't I would love to see some footage of that if any one can get it . I wish in these kind of instances that i had the all 22 .

I wonder if those refs get a bonus at the end of the season .

Spots have been crappy all year long.  One of literally a thousand examples. Week before against Ravens near the end of the game. Josh is tackled at the one. For some reason unbeknownst to anyone, it’s spotted at the two. If it was spotted at the one, maybe tush push TD and no late game theatrics and no onside kick and no Benford concusssion.

Same as when people say "Oh Brady/Patriots got all the calls" - as if it is just some offhand thing that everyone just accepts - except it absolutely had a huge effect on their ability to win playoff games and SBs and their 'dynasty' - same with the Chiefs

The chips aren't currently used for spots bc they say they are only accurate to 6 inches.  I've commented in multiple threads the NFL needs to invest some of their billions of dollars in annual revenue in perfecting the technology so that it is more accurate and can be used.  They are bringing this on themselves when they don't make full use of eye in the sky to immediately reverse all plays that are obviously wrong, and technology to spot the ball properly
