Out of curiosity, anyone knows what the "removed" flag was for ? On the kinkaid drop play

A backup flag against Buffalo just in case Kincaid caught it.

The Refs robbed us and the Chiefs from a clean game with an epic finish

Instead we are left with a bad taste in our mouth because the refs couldn't make the right call in a crucial game changing spot.

Look we weren't guaranteed to win if we got that first, but we the fans were robbed the true outcome of this game.

I'm a little more pissed at McDermott for not challenging that spot on Kincaid's 3rd down catch. Instead he tried to rush a 4th and 1 QB sneak with not enough heavy personnel.  KC's Dline had been stuffing that all night and rather than get guys in tight to push Allen, we tried to do a quick snap. Chiefs weren't fooled (even if the spot was horrible).

Those spots were close, but wanted more from the officials and McDermott

it then went to NY though and you would think those guys have the technology that some of the home garage bloggers do that clearly show the ball relative to the line by superimposing or making Chris Jones invisible.  I'm not sure how NY couldn't have overturned that.

But if McDermott challenges and it is not a first down they lose a very valuable Time Out.  The play was very close.  I think he would lose the TO even if they moved the ball but it wasn't enough to get the first down.

I'm a little annoyed with Kincaid on that play for not making a decided effort to keep his knee up.  Everyone saw the earlier great play by Cook, making every effort to keep his knee up.  Kincaid let his knee go down so they didn't spot it where the ball landed but took it back to their own approximation of where they thought it may have been during his travel downward.

And for the McDermott criticism about the call, the play made it.  May have been close but they had it.  Any other call that didn't work would be getting (rightfully) a lot more flack.

This fan openly talks about it, and in the comments, other Chiefs fans agree with her.

All Chief fans and Patriot fans should feel this way. Brady was escorted to SB's for 20 years and it looks like Mahomes is on the same trajectory.

We lost 4 Super Bowl's in a row in the 90's.  We've lost 4 straight playoff games to KC/Mahomes/Reid.

Maybe the football gods are like "that's enough, we are done messing with you guys".   Let's hope 4 is where our futility against KC ends.

The girl in the vid says it’s not fun anymore as she’s wearing the 2024 AFC Champs hoodie…

Miserable and expensive.

I find myself getting angrier every time I see social media discussion about the biased officiating than I do my getting more chill as time passes.

This league is an absolute joke.

I’ve been seeing a certain photo circulating social media that tries to disprove that Allen got the first. They took an early frame where you could see the ball was short and used that as evidence, never mind the fact that his momentum had not come to a stop.

Just found a funny video that shows us what we already knew: both the 3rd and the 4th downs were spotted short. Such a crucial drive where any points could’ve meant the world for the guys in blue and red.

First Down, Buffalo

At the end of the day, it just doesn't matter. You can look at NFL games weekly and you could show videos like this repeatedly.

It has been the old Subway commercial making fun of the refs, drama...changing channels.

The NFL is all about, there is no such thing as bad publicity. It's what they want.

What I also don’t understand is why didn’t Kincaid take it to the outside of Shakir? He would’ve gotten it much easier versus cutting up to the inside. But as Kevin Wildes said earlier: call a better play. Be better. Still, referee incompetence stings.
