I really wish we had a player or a coach who was willing to say what needs to be said about the officiating and be willing to accept the fine from the league.

Really tough to accept this loss in light of how terrible the controversial calls were. We didn't play a perfect game, but the standard for accurate officiating needs to be significantly higher than it is right now, and it has to change soon.

With as close as this game was even with as subpar as we played, it's hard not to feel like we genuinely would have won if not for those couple of calls. Just brutal.

When the spotting of the ball on the fourth down play that  comes into question, WHY didn't some one from the Bills ask for the chains to be brought out and measure the placement. ?   Is using the chain still allowed ?  Maybe I'm stuck back in the good ole days?

great point.   If they brought out the chains, the refs would have pushed it back a few inches anyway to ensure it was short

How do you have Jim Nantz EMPHATICALLY saying  "I'm told there is a flag"   and then being like  oh nevermind?????  to end the game

Either they were going to make up a call if Kincaid caught the pass  or KC committed a penalty and it was picked up

It will be interesting to see how the Texans are treated next year then, given they did explicitly call out the referees in the postseason last week.

I didn't have access to the CBS commentary in Germany but I couldn't believe that catch was given to Worthy - and the delay of game near the two minute warning wasn't "noticed".

It's inexcusable the league doesn't utilize some kind of chip or scanning technology at this point.

Tennis is able to accurately track a ball down to the millimeter level. There's plenty of options for how they could get it done and the old school measurement systtem would look absolutely prehistoric in comparison. I'm so sick of games being decided by a 65 year old dude with a part time job and deteriorating eye sight determining the outcome of these things.

Yeah, keep telling yourself those cliches.

No, the game went as it was supposed to go. There was no failure or inability to conquer adversity. KC won because they were supposed to.

State Farm and Swift fans are too large an investment to refuse to appease.

Go get your iPhone 16.

And despite knowing that the outcome was rigged from the start you watched anyway.

Got it.

I bundle it all into the “got lucky”-  those are the breaks.  KC got them again. I don’t think it was on purpose.  I just think that’s the way things shook out.  Eager to watch the game where we get those breaks vs KC in the playoffs.  The odds of that happening should be improving after each game we don’t get them.

if we were on the other end of some of those calls- or even one - we may be playing in 2 weeks.  We’ll never know

The Chiefs have consistently been the favorite of the refs since they got the face of the league.

How lucky!

That was weird. The screen did say flag.

Looking back I actually wonder if they were going to call roughing the passer.

This is such a strange critique. Movies have preplanned outcomes, yo. As do television shows, plays, or any recorded music.

People have enjoyed such entertainment since before any of us have been alive.

Semi tongue-in-cheek, what is the desired long-term outcome? Mahomes and Reid to reach and win 8 Super Bowls?!

The desired outcome the NFL and those companies with Mahomes, Reid and Kelce on TV insufferable amounts of times  (which by the way should be PROHIBITED during games those players are playing in)  ....is piles of $$$$$$$

There's millions of us. And it's no different than liking wrestling or a movie. There's nothing odd or strange about it. Some people are just more self aware than others and accept what is.

I was thinking the EXACT same thing at the time.  Jim seemed 100% confident the refs had thrown a flag during or after the play.  Very strange when you think about it...

I'd say this is about it. Mahomes might..might get one more.

Odds are Reid retires after this or they definitely aren't going back for a while.

It's like when Miami won back to back and went to 3 SBs in a row. They haven't won since.

I hope that you guys are just trolling...

You think the league has it out for the Bills when they play the Chiefs yet you still spend time watching because it's entertaining?
