Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

That's the first time the Chiefs have scored over 30 all season.

But the Bills were massively outcoached while also having worse calls AND non calls against them.

 

Again this is something that is par for the course in the 2025 NFL. Be better than the other team AND the officials.

 

The Bills were better than NEITHER the Chiefs or the officials.

 

Thus they lost.

Yes, the Chiefs got away with bad calls, the drop that they ruled to be a catch, phantom unnecessary roughness on Princess Mahomes.. I get that. But the main problem is the coaching staff.

two refs on opposite sides see the ball maybe 70% of the time based on positioning and pile 

 

one marks the ball as a 2 ft gain, the other a 4 ft gain… wouldn’t the logical mechanism to spot the ball be to use the forward mark knowing neither saw the full motion but one says he did see that amount of gain?

A chip in the ball, but that would eliminate influence.

After putting it in slow motion, his elbow hit about half a foot behind the line. Ball was spotted a full yard short. 2 terrible spots in a row. Football is called a “game of inches” for a reason as every inch matters or else what’s the point of having sticks to measure? Just let the refs put it wherever they want.

I love being critical about officiating, and I do think the refs favored the Chiefs in this game, but it was about a 55/45 ratio. We easily could've won this game without self inflicted wounds, or if we had even a mediocre defense

They were not as bad as last year I dont know about held their own.....the Chiefs never scored mroe than 30 all year. Today they did....and they let them run it out at the end

Just out of curiosity: I think everyone agrees that the 3rd and 3 where Kincaid caught it was poorly spotted. How come no one is blaming McDermott or the Bills replay assistant  or even the NFL replay Assist for not calling down and spotting that ball properly?

Why didn't McDermott challenged the spot on the Kincaid 3rd down catch? I still don't get why he didn't do it.
