ChronicAndKnuckles Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) Sorry, I really don’t care what people say. The refs let us down on two HUGE plays. The first was the Worthy catch on the 4 yard line and the second was that horrible disgusting spot on 4th down. The first down marker was at the 40 yard line and about 1/3 of the ball crossed over it. Even Gene Steratore pointed it out. I don’t care how horrible you say the Bills played. They had the game tied at that point and ended up losing by 3 points. In an extremely close game like that, the officiating is absolutely critical. Go ahead and blame it on the defense all you want when the Chiefs pretty much score on everybody. NOBODY can stop them and when they get called for like 3 penalties the entire game, it makes it even harder. The refs threw the Bills a bone just to not make it look blatant, but every call that mattered went against Buffalo. I had my heart absolutely ripped out today and am a little emotional, but I stand by my words. Edited January 27 by ChronicAndKnuckles 11 1 35 7 6 Quote

Coaches coach, players make plays. McD wasn’t perfect, but far from the reason we lost. Not his fault Benford went out early in the 1st or that Kincaid can’t catch a beach ball. 1 1 1 Quote

I’m not normally a blame the refs guy, but they definitely played a huge role in the loss today. Several times they marked the ball short, the Worthy incompletion (will never call that a catch), the multiple penalties on the punt return. The refs were abysmal 3 6 1 Quote

BillsFanNC Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) You need to play a flawless game if you expect the officials to have an impact. Flawless game? No. Refs making questionable calls? Yes Recipe for expected L. Edited January 27 by BillsFanNC 1 1 Quote
