Matt_In_NH Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Do pass catchers stop the opposing team from getting easy first downs? I know I am not up with the times but that is surprising to me. Quote

The more I think about it the more disgusted I am. Hopefully Beane has finally learned that he needs to OVER invest in pass catchers. The only way we're winning a Super Bowl under this regime is with an offense that can completely steamroll the competition. We need someone other than Allen that can make the clutch play at the end. No more half measures. Go all in on giving Allen an offensive cast worthy of his talent. Expand it’s exhausting and I’m sure we will hear all offseason how everyone ate Quote

Fire up your Madden franchise if you want to build that kind of team around Josh. We are gonna go DL in the first round, again. Maybe spend a 4th on a WR. Expand Probably safety or CB. That would be the best for us. This game isn't an indictment on the team as they had a great year but we need to be a little better. Does a healthy Rapp or Benford get us there? Beast Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Our number 1 need is building a defensive line. The one we have right now sucks. Greg Rousseau better not get a second contract with the Bills. 1 Quote

Sestak4ever Posted January 27 Posted January 27 We supposedly drafted the guy with the best hands in the world in Kincaid. He has been very disappointing this year and that drop today was inexcusable. Big game players don’t miss that opportunity. Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted January 27 Posted January 27 It has been all year despite what some wanted to believe. I give Mack credit. He has balls. Cooper and Shakir are both good. Kincaid sucks which is a surprise. The backs are good. Everybody eats until they don’t. Go get an alpha. 2 2 Quote

KC has been stymied by one DL ever during their dynasty run. That isn't the answer. We need to put 40 points on the board in regulation. I want that to be Beane's mindset with every decision he makes this offseason. 2 1 Quote

Expand If it was Keon Coleman or another draft pick, making those catches, except Mack Hollins would you be upset? Not saying Mack is the answer. But not sure how anyone comes away from this game saying that's the top need right now. I'll give Coleman a chance to grow. And add another couple playmakers for sure. But how do we need to "completely steamroll" competition to win? We have missed on too many defensive investments, got snake bitten by injuries that likely won't make the player the same (ie: Von, Milano now, Tre before). Again, we're sitting here needing a "solid" corner, and either Bishop becomes a very good S, or we are searching there too. Not to mention DL. We just lack in many spots. Wide receiver sure. But then we're back with what just happened. Eventually we need talent on defense to keep KC down. Everyone wants to say coaching, but it's mainly that we are aging out premier talent there and need to replace. 2 Quote

Sadly, I don't think he'll ever revert from what he is. It's in his DNA. Beane needs to look McD in the eye and say your strategy doesn't work. Expand James Cook? Shakir? The OLine?
