Buffalo ill Posted Monday at 03:16 AM Posted Monday at 03:16 AM It's just never going to happen with this team. Our coaches will never hold a candle to Reid and Spagnuolo Quote
FireChans Posted Monday at 03:16 AM Posted Monday at 03:16 AM Just now, K D said: His entire defensive scheme is sit back 10 yards and come up and make a play. They absolutely tore us up with quick passes and crossers. But hey, didn't give up the big play right? Chiefs scored more on us that any other team this year and they have played a lot of bum teams. Gameplan should have been try and outscore KC. Get to 40 points. They can't keep pace. They aren't the Rams or Lions. It should have been that kind of game. They played them like they played the Ravens which was safe and scared to make a mistake. They should have lost to the Ravens doing that but because it worked they did it again. Andy Reid was probably grinning ear to ear seeing them hand him 5-10 yards every play. Then the push toosh. They knew exactly where Josh liked to go on those and stopped them almost every time. Better coaching. They were prepared. They ran a lot of man today and played closer to their guys. They blitzed a fair amount too. Crossers kill man, they don’t kill soft zones unless the receivers sit. Going for 6 4th downs, multiple 2 pt conversions is not my definition of conservative. Going for multiple sneaks after you’ve been stuffed on it is aggressive as hell. May be aggressive to the point of stupidity but still aggressive. You can say lots of things about tonight. The coaching being conservative isn’t one of them tbh. 1 Quote

You have to wonder how much more he can take. I have to.say though, I don't think there is a chance in hell this team beats Philly. Sure would have been nice to try for the upset. Allen faces a terrible dilemma. He is so good that he can lead the Bills to 15 wins, the Division title and reach the AFC championship game with average coaching and an average front office. But will he ever get to a Super Bowl? If the Bills didn't have Allen this would be an 8 game winning, non playoff making team that more closely resembled a team from the Bills lost years then a genuine Super Bowl team. You can see that with just a little bit more the Bills are in the Super Bowl this year and probably 2 of the last 4 years. There is no dominant player on defense and outside of Cook no above average skill player. Edited Monday at 03:23 AM by CincyBillsFan 2 Quote
ChanticleerBillsFan Posted Monday at 03:17 AM Posted Monday at 03:17 AM (edited) In regulation the Chiefs had scored 30 points ONCE all season! ONE TIME and its was against the PANTHERS! Edited Monday at 03:17 AM by ChanticleerBillsFan 1 1 Quote
GunnerBill Posted Monday at 03:17 AM Posted Monday at 03:17 AM The General Manager deserves WAY more heat than the Head Coach after this loss. I do think Reid and Spags won the coaching battle, but not by a ton. The Bills made good half time adjustments and worked their way back into the game. Where the big differences lie is they didn't have a liability at corner (they did in the regular season game but he was a day 3 pick not a 1st rounder) and their guy came down with a heave ball in the first half ours didn't at the end. Oh and that guy that did? We gave him to them. In order to take a player who made no impact again because as I told you all at the time - he is a non-separator. I am going to bed angry tonight. But angry at Brandon Beane. He should own this loss when he gets infront of a mic tomorrow. It's largely on him. 1 1 Quote

Mr. Wonderful Posted Monday at 03:18 AM Posted Monday at 03:18 AM Stop it! McDermott coached to win, his team just didn't execute. Bills got stuffed on the Allen "tush push" plays and failed on both their 2-pt conversions. Ballgame. Quote

If you blame McD for this, you don’t know football. Period. BS. the tush push was something that KC was ready for and we had no answer. Quote
Bferra13 Posted Monday at 03:19 AM Posted Monday at 03:19 AM I won't watch but I really hope the Eagles win. Quote

We just don't have the elite playmakers to make a difference in a game like this. Sad but true. 1 Quote

As usual Josh leaves his heart on the field. The defense, ST and our TE's were worthless tonight. Quote

I’m sick to my stomach about it too but that’s what happened. Nonsense. Allen threw a TD on 4th down to tie the game up, converted multiple 4th downs and kept the Bills in the game time after time. That end of the 1st half TD drive was the definition of a winning play. And on his last pass Allen put the ball on the hands of his TE at the KC 25 ad the ball was dropped. There is nothing a reasonable fan could have expected from Allen today. NOTHING. To suggests otherwise is to display a complete lack football knowledge. 2 Quote
