We got outplayed in the trenches, but you knew they were during the game and still decided to try to win that way. 
 

Yup. Way too many bad Josh runs and those calls were coming from somewhere. I suspect you are right.

 

I only remember 1 towards the end that was an option that Josh kept and shouldn’t have but they might’ve been another one earlier. We got lucky on a bunch of them too. Really bad play calling throughout. A few of the short/low passes at the end were bad too.

Yeah I left, trips right, qb fall throw up a prayer shoudl be removed from the playbook.  Cant believe they designed the play that way

Agreed - some people on this board don't seem to understand football or overreact.  KC has a real DC that can generate a pash rush while Babish failed miserably as far as I'm concerned.  The fact the other team scored a TD on their first drive of every playoff game is a hiuge red flag to me.  Maybe Babich doesn't have good enough players, but, they sure seem to be totally unprepared at the start of the game.

I do think Reid and Spags won the coaching battle, but not by a ton. The Bills made good half time adjustments and worked their way back into the game. 

 

Where the big differences lie is they didn't have a liability at corner (they did in the regular season game but he was a day 3 pick not a 1st rounder) and their guy came down with a heave ball in the first half ours didn't at the end. Oh and that guy that did? We gave him to them. In order to take a player who made no impact again because as I told you all at the time - he is a non-separator. 

 

I am going to bed angry tonight. But angry at Brandon Beane. He should own this loss when he gets infront of a mic tomorrow. It's largely on him.

Brady was awful in the 2nd half.  Sure that first TD drive featuring almost all runs was nice but in that critical 2nd possession when the Bills led 22 - 21 how could Brady NOT run play action passes taking advantage of KC selling out to stop the run? 

 

And I agree that Bean better take a long hard look in the mirror tonight.  Watching Von Miller do absolutely nothing while Worthy eats us alive is a real problem.

Kincaid was bad enough all season that he really shouldn’t have been out there at all. He brings absolutely nothing to the offense.

 

So I think you have to blame both of them. Beane for drafting him and McD by playing him to save face on the bad pick.

I think Safety is a huge need of ours.  I don't think Hamlin is a starting safety in this league and I think Rapp is a below average safety.  I do have hope for Bishop cuz he has the athleticism to be successful. a shutdown corner would be nice too. I think douglas walks, Elam is cut and #47 is a bit above average and now has 2 concussion in 7 days.

This is a great point and a huge indictment of the defensive caching staff.  To allow the opponent to score a TD on their opening drive in THREE straight playoff games is football negligence.

Best hands in the draft my asz.  He catches that ball (and it's a routine catch as far as I'm concerned) and we have first and 10 on the 25.  Sickening as is the 4th and one ball placement (14 point swing).

I agree - except for his very shaky start. I expect better of him. In a game like this he can’t make one of those garbage throws, much less two.

Refs refs moving the ball back after they gave us a first down was the back breaker. They should have used the chains to measure that one.

You mean on the obvious incomplete pass?  That was actually a great play on the ball by Bishop.  I have a sneaking suspicion that next season Bishop will have a breakout year and become our best 2nd round pick of 2024.  I also am nervous that Coleman is going to go in the dumpster.  Allen and Brady are going to need to work with a lot in the off season.

We are Andy Ried and Steve Spagnola's *****.  Massivly outcoached by them on all 4 playoff losses.  McD has learned nothing.  This team was totally unprepared for this game and in the key moments, again turtles with some horrendous play calls and execution.
