There may be some misplaced priorities;  but some of us have deep ties to loved ones that involve the Bills, and have life-long passions for the team and have been through decades of ups and downs.

Just because people are expressing anxiousness over a really important game doesn’t necessarily mean priorities are misplaced. If you’ve been on this board as long as you have you should understand this.

I'm not talking about normal, healthy nervousness about the game. There are some fans who taken it too far, though, and allow the game of football to negatively impact their moods, family, and relationships.

Examples? I haven’t read anything like that in this thread.

No, I'm not going to provide examples. But people can and do take it too far.

Maybe this isn’t the place for you then if it upsets you.

I'm quietly confident. Following this team for 50 years, I'm also ready for another heartbreaker. Once I realized that no matter what happens tonight, it won't come close to Wide Right, I suddenly felt very calm. I can't do anything to effect the outcome. All I can do is send out positive energy to the universe. I think it's the Bills time. Too many football and non-football signs to ignore. I guess we'll know in about 5 1/2 hours from now.

Go Bills!

Being anxious for the game has me wondering, does anyone else have this sensation of acceptance?  As in, we are right here, right now. Whatever will be, will be.

We've all been here before. But I can't bring myself to worry of a heartbreak. For some reason I'm not concerned today.   We'll all be alright, because our destiny was written long ago.

Does your heart feel a strange calmness today?

can't say im worried , but i really want to win and am not comfortable excepting whatever happens unless we win.

Been hitting the gummies already?  😊

Hahaha, maybe 😏.  I'm having a few beers getting amped up during the Commanders game.

This thread has been great to read for the day before the big game.

Watching this NFC game, I feel like the best team is wearing white and playing at 6.30.

I’ve never felt that way before, and I’ve been a fan for over 40 years. There’s something about Allen and the rest of this team that LOOKS different. It’s not the same old Bills. It’s not the Bickering Bills.

It’s finally different. Finally. And I’m ready for whatever happens after kickoff.

I have felt a calmness since the Ravens win. I'm sure it will go out the window when the game starts.

A poster made a thread suggesting what I'm feeling and got ripped to shreds for it. I want them to win and I'll be pulling for them as hard as I always do. But I really didn't think this was our year. So I'm amazed things came together as they have and we've made it this far.

54m over the cap to start the year. Moving on from 23 players - long time starters, leaders, important depth, and role players. And not being able to substantially fill most of those spots. A new Defensive play caller. 4/5 our WR core being targets who never played a down with Josh. Starting a guy at Center who hasn't played the position at the Pro level and a Guard who was a backup for us the year before. Starting AJ Epenesa, Dorian Williams, Taylor Rapp, and Damar Hamlin on Defense.

All the moving parts, this was supposed to be a down year where we'd be able to properly build next season. It's really amazing we've gotten here.

A loss here would undoubtedly hurt. And I'm not expecting or accepting defeat. But if it happened (so long as it didn't come from stupidity from coaches) - I don't feel like I'd be as destroyed and looking to rake the team over the coals as a year where I feel the roster is in amazing shape. Next year we're in a situation to be even better - regardless of whether we win it all or exit here. And I think that's what has me feeling calmer than usual.
