716to540 Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Posted Sunday at 04:20 PM Nope. I'm not calm at all ... already looking to see when pitchers and catchers report. Quote

The crowd was church silent. No hooting or hollering, no exclamation of our dominance. The crowd realized there is work to be done, the celebrating must wait. The way you described this gave me chills. In some way, I must've been right there with them after 0:00. We knew this just opened the gates... Edited Sunday at 04:21 PM by We'reWalking Quote
Maynard Posted Sunday at 04:34 PM Posted Sunday at 04:34 PM I’m completely calm, just like the Baltimore game. I have zero doubt. 1 Quote

If that happens, this site is going to explode. the site will be fine. I understand the sentiment though. The reaction will be nuclear. Either way. I'm more concerned with the bills brethren who might take a loss to heart too hard and break I feel that in the chat today. It's not just we want to win. It's death if we don't. It gives me a creepy vibe. I could be wrong. I'm just hopeful that class and character rises to the top either way. ya know? Edited Sunday at 04:52 PM by muppy 1 Quote

We'll all be alright, because our destiny was written long ago. Does your heart feel a strange calmness today? Yes for sure. Josh's first afccg I was very nervous... Pacing the day away, etc. This time not so much. Not because I think we will win, but acceptance has crept in. Whatever happens happens. We should win, but last night I had the realization: bills were always going to arrowhead for this game. Since last year it was destined. After our win earlier this year, everyone just said "can't wait to see this game again in the playoffs". No surprise this team loves Mr Brightside, "destiny is calling me". And... Newsflash- this won't be the last time we go to arrowhead in January. This is Peyton Manning vs Brady only better. Non football fans know how big this game is. And now I'm going to fire up the big green egg and smoke this "new" cut my butcher sampled me, namely a "pork brisket" or so they call it, basically the dark meat under the fat cap filleted out and cleaned up. And since I'm the "brisket guy" he said he wants my opinion. I'll happily oblige! 2 Quote
turbo044 Posted Sunday at 04:59 PM Posted Sunday at 04:59 PM This has been a great year for a '"transition" year. The Chiefs are the Chiefs and can easily win. Until you knock them off they're the kings. We can beat them, but will have to really earn it as they won't be haphazard with the ball like the Ravens were. 1 Quote

It's weird, but I was a lot more nervous about the game against Denver then I was about the game against the Ravens and I'm less nervous about this game then I was about the Baltimore game. My thinking is that a loss to the Broncos would have been unacceptable and spoiled the season. A loss to the Ravens would have been disappointing but still a good season. And a loss today would be sad but also the end of a great season in which the Bills reopened their Super Bowl window. But I just feel like the Bills are going to win today. 2 1 1 Quote

You and I have been feeling EXACTLY the same. Edit: except for the "window" While I didn't feel it was closed, you never know. You just have to make the most of your opportunities! BRH Posted Sunday at 05:09 PM Posted Sunday at 05:09 PM I'm traveling on business tomorrow morning and I made sure to get all my work tasks in order last week and this weekend. I even packed last night. I have a couple more things to tick off the list this afternoon. I'm fine right now but I know I will be useless after the game no matter what happens. 1 Quote

I'm sure I'll still feel awful if they lose a heartbreaker--there've been so many--but I've enjoyed this season more than any in a long time, and life will go on. 1 Quote

gonzo1105 Posted Sunday at 05:29 PM Posted Sunday at 05:29 PM I'm always calm until right before kickoff. Its just the way I am then I'm a wreck especially if they fall behind early which has happened in both playoff games so far so it hasn't been easy. 1 1 Quote
HamSandwhich Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM Posted Sunday at 05:31 PM Yep, been this way throughout the playoffs, even the Ravens game. Just something about this team that exudes calmness and confidence, it’s rubbed off on me. It’s like competence personified l! Go Bills! 2 1 Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted Sunday at 05:39 PM Posted Sunday at 05:39 PM Felt so calm before ravens game and feel so calm for this one. If you believe they are good, then there’s nothing more you can do as a fan. I don’t need anything more than all the players to be locked in and execute and I believe they are and will. This is our time. No nerves, just compete and execute. 1 Quote

We'll all be alright, because our destiny was written long ago. Does your heart feel a strange calmness today? I’m still nervous. Only because I keep thinking of a Bills loss with Mahomes and Kelce laughing and smiling while they run off the field. I so don’t want that happen again. I’m also cognizant how hard it is to get to an have to an AFC Championship. I think NE and KC have made winning a Super Bowl look so much easier than it is in reality. It took Buffalo 26 years to get back to one. Miami hasn’t seen one in 3 decades, the Jets are going on 2. I think after the 2021 loss to KC, we all figured “they’ll be back” but it still took 3 off seasons. So this is just a massive opportunity right now for Buffalo and I so hope they can survive and advance. Either way - it our team. 1 Quote
Roundybout Posted Sunday at 05:41 PM Posted Sunday at 05:41 PM Yep. I'm absolutely locked in. We showed the world why Lamar is a fraud, make-a-wish MVP. Now it's time to show the world why KC isn't the Goliath people say they are. 1 1 Quote
