That was all Josh I’m sorry that isn’t the case he dropped it and could have literally rolled for the first down. Allen may not have lead him but Samuel gets paid 30 million dollars to make those catches. 1 Quote

Partially on Josh, I accept, but not all. Low or not, it was still a catchable ball. I said it at the time, and will say it again, it was akin to Jackson to Andrews last week. The ball wasn't in the sweet spot, the receiver had to adapt but still should have come up with it. At lot is being made of this one, but didn't Kincaid also drop one, may have also been that drive? I thought he had to reach slightly (it had to be high to avoid a Chiefs player) but it was also catchable. As I said before, it can almost be guaranteed the likes of Kelce, Brown and Worthy would catch those kinds of balls for Mahomes and no one thinks anything more of it. The darts to Hollins yesterday were supreme throws but not the easiest of catches, yet he made them. As said on this thread or elsewhere, Daniels had at least five off throws yesterday yet his receivers made something of them. It cannot and should not be all on one man. And, along with the usual awful play off defense, a key reason the Bills are out is because they abandoned the running game for too long. Too much was placed in Josh's hands, and Cook was used sparingly. Quote
Dan Darragh Posted Monday at 04:42 PM Posted Monday at 04:42 PM When the Bills were down 3 late in the game, I imagined this scenario which would have been epic Billsy: 1. Josh has a nice drive that stalls out, Bass makes a FG as time expires 2. Bills win the toss in OT and score a TD 3. Because of the Josh Allen 0:13 Rule, KC gets a possession, and scores a TD 4. Bills get stopped on the next possession 5. KC gets the ball and wins Quote
Brand J Posted Monday at 04:46 PM Posted Monday at 04:46 PM Watching the sideline fall apart after Kincaid’s 4th down drop was tough. They just knew he had the catch. 1 Quote
hikerprof2 Posted Monday at 05:01 PM Posted Monday at 05:01 PM There is a paywall here, but Drew Magary's article on Defector "Patrick Mahomes Will Always Make You Pay" sums up what teams have to do to beat the Chiefs, Play mistake free football. Not just no turnovers -avoid all the little things that cause you to lose momentum or put your team at a disadvantage. You can't go three and out. You can't lose field position. You can't turn the ball over on downs. You can't settle for FG's instead of TD's. You can't take costly penalties. You can't fail to get off the field on third and long. It's crazy, but the Chiefs will capitalize on every flaw in your gameplan, every weakness. You have to be perfect. Good luck. Patrick Mahomes Will Always Make You Pay | Defector Quote
Taro Nimbus Posted Monday at 05:24 PM Posted Monday at 05:24 PM The writing was on the wall for us before the game even started. During the Commies Eagles game, there was a Super Bowl commercial during a time out for Doritos that featured, you guessed it, the Chiefs. 🤷🏻♂️ Quote

Kincaid was tearing up. Josh, and every players mantra was "we love each other. we never want to let our teammates down". Dalton knew he let his team down. The sideline was devastated, and quite sad to see. Quote
zow2 Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Cowherd had a good opening monologue on the Bills game. Made some valid points. I won't articulate all the points he made... but the essence was that the Chiefs are liberated in high pressure playoff games. They don't get conservative, they get more aggressive...Mahomes runs too which he dials back in the regular season. He feels the Bills are very very close to KC, but they shrink in the pressure, get more conservative, and even if it's shrinking by a tiny margin it's enough. And of course the coaching by Reid and Spags is not matched on our side. 1 Quote

But at the same time I counted 4 missed tackles by the Bills on that play as well. The ST coach needs to be fired today. I dont think we had a single punt or KO return TD, or blocked a punt or FG this year. Combined with all the other gaffes on coverage and the fake punt against us, that is abysmal. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted Monday at 05:51 PM Posted Monday at 05:51 PM Look how close this was to a TD.🥺 1 Quote

They went on 4th down repeatedly, they blitzed, they played man to man, They were aggressive before the half and Allen made the best throw of the game to hollins for a TD. What is cowherd talking about? Sounds like his usual generic nonsense that he says. Quote

Brown falls after pancaking DB, and 56 appears to just miss getting tripped up by Brown getting to his feet- its milliseconds close Quote

KC gets all the breaks Quote

Don't forget LA blocked a punt & returned for a TD against us in a one score game, without that the Chiefs would have had to play their starters in Week 18. 1 Quote

I never saw so many third and fourth-and-shorts all year. Our opponents? First down, move the chains, don't even bother looking at it. Let's compare and contrast: Remember there was a run by Cook through the middle, he jump cut to his left and finished on the yard-to-gain line. The line judge(s) signalled first down, moved the sticks. Then REPLAY ASSIST calls down and tells them to mark it short, it's third and 1. Do you recall that happening at any other point in the playoffs? I don't. It's lost because the Bills converted iirc with another short Cook run. If clearly Replay Assist has within it's purview where the line to gain was actually achieved, why nothing on the Kincaid spot? The other one I really love was the McDermott challenge, where they waited to see if the KC play failed (it did) and then decided it didn't happen and awarded the challenge. There's a handful of stuff that happened, that was either unprecedented or rarely see, that contributes to this national outrage that the NFL is fixed and funny stuff abounds. They KNEW the spotlight was on them after the row over the Texans game... and they doubled down. Quote
