EmotionallyUnstable Posted January 27 Posted January 27 There should be a regional day of mourning today. Work after this? Smh Quote

Shakir didn't get a good block or it would have been bigger gain, but I was surprised that play wasn't looked at. Yeah I was stewing about why no challenge there except on further thought: 1) Why would that have gone any different than the 4th down review 2) With the previous example of the other challenge I wouldn't be surprised if McDermott just didn't trust them to get it right, against that team, in that venue, at that moment, while we're sitting through another batch of State Farm and Doritos commercials. Reid is probably still a better coach straight-up, but being a better coach with the kind of intimidation factor of having the entire league apparatus behind you, as someone else mentioned, forces you to have to be "double-perfect" and have no appeal either. Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Worst night of sleep I had in a long time my time. Kept waking up every 2 hours and re-living all the key missed plays. 1 1 Quote

Steptide Posted January 27 Posted January 27 As others have said, did not sleep a whole lot. After 13 seconds, I was heartbroken, for like a week. This morning, I'm just straight up pissed. It's like re living the same nightmare over and over. McDermott still has no idea how to beat kc in the playoffs, and his defense sucks, and it has pretty much all season. Offense isn't blameless though, Brady called some junk calls, and I feel like they did absolutely nothing to keep the kc defense on their toes. Josh made some ridiculous throws in this game, but we have absolutely no pass catching threat. I'm so annoyed Quote

I heard here that Josh has mastered the jump ball. @HappyDays I have little confidence in Josh throwing jump balls 🤷🏻♂️- I’m not going there Not close to catchable. Quote
twist_to_open Posted January 27 Posted January 27 So which draft pick are we trading down from this year? The 29th? Or 30th? Quote

Josh can't run downfield and catch his own throws nor play defense. He's the best quarterback this franchise has ever seen and may ever see. Jim Kelly readily admits Allen is more talented than him. This roster just doesn't have enough talent and dynamic coaching. 1 Quote

I mean , 5 plays stick out, 2 missed 2pt conversions. The 2 plays I posted above, both should've been 1st down and the Kincaid drop at the end. Truly a game of inches. should've easily had 30 plus Quote
Ray Stonada Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I had two hours of sleep and feel angry and sad today. The silver lining is that 12-18 hours per week are now liberated until September. Maybe more. Going to try to do some good stuff with all that time! Edited January 27 by Ray Stonada 1 Quote

This is probably a troll job haha but I just have to point out that that ball to Kincaid is probably the throw of the year if he comes down with it which he absolutely should have It’s impossible to say Allen didn’t do his job Edited January 27 by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote

zow2 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I fell asleep around 1:30am and woke up at 4:30am,,,could not fall back to sleep.. just tossing and turning thinking about all the little things that could have changed the outcome.. Also, just how snakebit this team is, and this City is when it comes to winning the biggest game(s). I don't feel bad for me, I've already suffered through the early 80's playoff failure...the four Super Bowl losses, etc.. I feel bad for my kids and some of my extended family who are in their 20's and desperately wanted to experience a Bills Super Bowl berth. Quote

They've been to the Super Bowl 5 of 6 years. The last 11 of 15 years the Quarterback for the AFC in the Superbowl has been named Brady, Mahomes, or Manning. We can complain about coaching, defense, injuries etc but its a waste of time. The reality is the Chiefs have the 2nd best QB of all time and we don't. And until we have that guy we aren't likely to get to or win the Super Bowl. Josh is a helluva player. He isnt the best quarterback. Edited January 27 by thenorthremembers Quote
