Yep. 29 points on the road against a good defence should be well enough to win.

KCs offence is good, but it's not great.

Defence continues to sh*t the bed against KC in the playoffs

That’s my issue……defense should be able to hold that offense to 24 points. We spent so much money on the defense year after year after year and they have yet to put us in position to win the last game of the season for us!

I really want to know what happened with the protection on the last play. We would have had multiple guys open.

Terrible time for the o line to have their worst game of the year.

Look, we can complain about the refs and I'm right there with you. The Chiefs seem to get crucial calls in their favor when it matters consistently.

But I don't think that's all of it.

How many years in a row do we need to watch the guys around Allen let him down? Kincaid should have that ball. No, it's not an easy catch, but in the moment it's what he needed to do.

I'm tired of watching Allen play with 2nd rate coaching coupled with 2nd and 3rd rate talents.  He's the reason we're even a team worth talking about. Something's got to give here.

I'm absolutely gutted.

Most points given up by the Chiefs this year (not counting week 18): 30 points to the Bills.

Second most points given up: 29 points to the Bills just now.

The offense mostly did its job. If you have to score 33 points on the road against an elite defense, then you are pretty much already cooked.

Exactly- And realistically it would have been 31 points. (If not for declining the made extra points and the failed two point conversions)

Easy to see in hindsight, but if he just turns and flips it to Shakir, there was nobody within 25 yards of him.

I was so focused on the space opening in front of Kincaid that I didn't even see Shakir.

He came out of the backfield on the play didn't he?

The combination of Hamlin and Elam was devastating in this game. It's bad enough that Damar is barely a replacement level player. Then he kamikazes our best defensive player and forces the entry of Elam, who the coaches clearly don't believe in. McD's comments at half time almost preemptively alluded to the disaster he knew would occur with Kaiir.

Elam is clearly bad. I think we just need to cut him. No one is gonna want to trade for him.

Yes, I blame - or at least partially blame - Josh for some of the earlier throws but that one... he had no time whatsoever. Pass protection just fell apart and he couldn't think. What he did do was miraculous and if Kincaid had come up with it, like any decent NFL reciever, then we'd be wacing lyrical about it.

Need an absolute eater next to Ed so he can work more isolations. He has the talent, just not enough to be the monster you’d expect from a top 10 pick on the interior.

Edge, I’m actually saddened by how little an impact Groot had. I was a huge advocate for signing him to an extension but honestly, I don’t even know if I would. Unless he plays lights out on this option for 2025, you let him walk. Need someone else out there. Would have liked to see them put Solomon out there a lot more if possible next season but I’ll understand if not. He lacks the prototypical size.

CBs is an issue. I wouldn’t resign Douglas if I’m honest unless you’re upgrading the Safety position. Again lol.

Wes you’re on the money. There’s no true downfield speed. Can’t rely on a 50/50 guy. Teams are just able to sit on everything underneath. The only time I saw that change was after Mack beat them on that deep seam.

LBs? I’m absolutely fine with that group as long as they fix the defensive line. They can play very wel if the guys infront keep them clean.

Groot is so inconsistent which means Beane will resign him.  He flashes early in the season and then disappears during the season as a pass rusher with the exception of a couple plays.

I think the hope was for McDermott to lead a dynasty. That obviously isn’t going to happen. I believe our best chance (to win one Super Bowl) is to see if we can’t catch fire with a new coach. Be unpredictable for a year.

I get the approach McDermott is taking and it’s admirable but it. Isn’t. Working.

Exactly how I feel. Great man and coach regular season. But can’t get the job done when it’s needed the most. Time for a change. With Josh and the right coach we could have a dynasty moving forward. I am so over these heart breaking let downs. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Winning the regular season does nothing for me. It’s Super Bowl or bust. Josh is just too good. It’s not fair to him.

True, but you simply can't ignore the fact that defense also put the offense in position to win the game with almost no time left, and instead, turned the ball over on downs.

We knew the defense was not great going into this game and also knew we were going to simply have to beat them with our offense.

Ya they got a lot of calls, but our coaches had no adjustment offensively for goal line and short yardage.

Our personel shortcomings and failures to get the d line right and first round picks once again shows up.

Spagnolo once again uses blitzed effectively, and effects the game.

We got away from what we did well at the start of the game which was not the good move.

Blah blah blah. Excuses for a fixed outcome.

Yep Mark Andrews is a perennial all pro/pro bowler who had a bad game last week.

Kincaid isn't even close to his level

Kinkaid needs to bulk up and become a complete TE.  As a heavy WR, he lacks.  As a blocking TE he lacks.

The Bills need to stop drafting players to change them into some version they want and instead draft players who ARE what they want.  Epenesa & Elam are other examples.  Developing a player is fine, but trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, especially with high draft picks, is insanity.

Yep. It will continue to let them down if McDermott keeps running this scheme.

He needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and realize it's not good enough. And hire an outside the building DC to change up this scheme/philosophy

Amazed.

Won last week by a TE dropping a ball. Didn’t get a chance to win by our own TE dropping an incredible attempt by Josh.

Credit to the Chiefs for the shut down of Josh in short yardage. That was the difference.

We didn't adjust to that at all. How did they not see the chiefs adjusting to Josh left

How did we not try something else or have a counter. They owned us on the push

The Bills put up 29. How many points do you want to bail out this defense???

The also created a turnover. How about the Offense actually do something with their first 3 downs, instead of having to go for it on so many 4th downs.???
