We win in the regular season so it’s all good. Pathetic thinking from the Mcdermott and Beane defenders

It was on the players not McDermott. Beane need to get better players in here , was supposed to be a down year , hopefully with more cap space he will.

So many reasons we lost this game.

- Brady's unwillingness to run the ball in the first half.  Could not understand why he had Josh PASS PASS PASS.  Once he ran the ball in the 2nd half, we got back in the game.

- McDummy chasing the points.  A FG would have won the game instead of tying it late.

- Bills players once again choking under the bright lights.  Kincaid's drops were huge.  Defense was poor.  The Chefs just have clutch players who just perform when the pressure is on.

- The refs screwed us dry.  Josh had the first down, but the replay guys were too chicken bleep to overturn the call on the field.  The play where they gave Worthy the catch was clearly incomplete.  The ball hit the ground with neither Bishop or Worthy in control of it.  It should have been an incomplete pass.

Unfortunately, Edward G in Cincinnati Kid comes to mind.

Shakir was wide open on the last 4th down. I do t get it, that's the go to receiver.

Way too much pressure on Josh on that play to expect him to be able to see it and make the throw.

Our lack of a separator hurt the offense tonight. But they could’ve played Cooper more.

They pressured Allen a lot tonight because they had no fear of our WRs.

We have we the talent, but our offense is just not dynamic or imaginative enough.

As bad as the D looked at times, they put the offense in a position to win the game with almost no time left.

The offense turned the ball over on downs.  Plenty of blame to go around here.

Except special teams.

Game plan is to hold on over the top and hope Josh can score more points than them.

It’s a testament to Allen that that plan got us so far.

Which has always been the wrong gameplan defensively since KC doesn’t mind take the short stuff.

I don't disagree with any of this.

And saying they were outcoached by Reid and Spagnulo is not any sort of insult. They are the best duo in the world and one of the greatest of all time. It's like finishing .10 seconds behind Edwin Moses. Whaddya gonna do? 🤷‍♂️

But not sure i call it outcoached.

Outplayed?  Yes.

We have three players that you listed in the secondary: Hamlin, Elam, Douglas.  Just not what beats a Patrick Mahomes led offense.

Sounds like excuses to some, and we can point blame at why those are our options,  but I still don't call it coaching.

Outplayed, by better talent.   This is a raw take,  but it's so difficult with a great group of players/coaches, just thr talent gap is missing on defense.

Razor thin difference between winning and losing, I think speed is something they'll evaluate on defense, likely offense too, and realize that we do need more.

They don't make any more plays than we do. They get gifted 14 points by the referees. It's really that simple.

Ya they got a lot of calls, but our coaches had no adjustment offensively for goal line and short yardage.

Our personel shortcomings and failures to get the d line right and first round picks once again shows up.

Spagnolo once again uses blitzed effectively, and effects the game.

We got away from what we did well at the start of the game which was not the good move.

Also: The Bills have lost to the Chiefs in 4 playoff games. Each of those playoff games was the game the Chiefs scored their most points in the playoffs for that year (13 seconds - 42 was tied the week before with the Steelers)

Reid has McDermott’s number when the chips are down…i.e…the playoffs.

The Bills were not the better team on this day. That is what it is.

The smaller picture is situational football and KC put together an excellent plan against Joe Brady's offense.

The bigger picture is that Buffalo doesn't have the defense necessary to win these games and I feel like i write that post mortem every year.

In the end, it all came down to that last Allen pass and execution. Missed block by Torrance and no blitz pickup. That forced Josh to scramble, and not go to Shakir, who was wide open. The heave to Kincaid was actually perfect, and he dropped it.

need to execute in the big moments to win in the playoffs.

Because the TE dropped the ball?

A TE dropped a desperation heave, caused by a defensive call McDermott would never have the guts to make. It's supposed to be his calling card, but every damn year it's worthless. It's enough

You can't believe that that ball is catchable...

The ball was easily catchable. You must be blind.

Watch the replay. It was right in his arms and he drops it.
