No one covered him and there wasn't a defenseman within 20 yards. Wasn't Allen's best game. Not that it was a bad game but it wasn't his best either. Spags does that to people. It's unfortunate. 1 Quote

I’m never sure what the game plan is against KC in the playoffs with McDermott as the HC tho! Just wasted seasons under McDermott….its time to move on from him. 2025 offseason better put the emphasis on offense….not below average ends that get no pressure! Game plan is to hold on over the top and hope Josh can score more points than them. It’s a testament to Allen that that plan got us so far. Quote

After the drought, I'll admit to being less bummed (long term) about losing in the playoffs. I'm likening this Mahomes/Allen rivalry to Brady/Manning. Brady got the better of it early but Peyton got some big wins later in his career. Build the defense, shore up the receiving room, learn how to feature the running back every now and again... we could dominate. 1 Quote

Each of those playoff games was the game the Chiefs scored their most points in the playoffs for that year (13 seconds - 42 was tied the week before with the Steelers) The defense has been the issue since 2019. I can’t say it more. I’m not sure how it’s not clear as day. The offense has never been the issue. It’s 100% the scheme. It’s entirely the defense Quote

I'm a huge fan and always will be but I'm tired of losing to this same team. Heck I'm tired of losing in the playoffs. It hurts. I really need to care less and view it as entertainment and not a goal to witness in my life. They’re a good team. Can’t say anything else. When it comes to close games they win. They absolutely got the better share of all the calls during the game that put us behind the 8-ball but we still had a chance. That stubbornness to continue the short yardage with Josh was madness. They weren’t even faked out by us changing it up on them. Pure discipline on that front. That is the only credit I will give to the Chiefs. They shut our bread and butter, go-to, reliable play with 2 yards or less to convert. Brady needs to answer as to why they chose to drown in that well. im not giving McD a pass by any means but that unit played absolutely rough even before Benford went down. Bad game on defense entirely minus a handful of plays. Pass rush needs overhauled… Again. Hamlin played horrible as did Elam and Bishop. Bernard, Douglas and Milano were up and down. The only bright spot was Taron. Groot, I don’t even know where to begin. Dude was invisible. 1 Quote

His Defense has failed 5 games in a row against the other 2 elite passers in the AFC Drops: Samuel and Kincaid. Kincaid's drop was the game. You see Chiefs make clutch play after clutch play after clutch play and Kincaid not catching that pass was awful. Tush Push: It wasn't effective and you kept going with it. Bills should have audibled into a RPO on the failed 4th and 1 after the Chiefs continued to stuff the Bills. I also hated that the Bills didn't try to force them Offside except once. 2 Point Conversions: Probably wouldn't have mattered but the Bills failed on two 2 points and the Chiefs got 1. Ultimately the Chiefs won by three but the Bills probably punt late in the 4th Brady: Too conservative in the playoff games against the Ravens and Chiefs. Why does it never seem like the Bills have players wide open as often as Mahomes, Burrow and Jackson? It's crazy. The 2 point conversions between the Bills and Chiefs really was so symbolic IMO of the game. Once the Chiefs took the lead in the 4th quarter they had a well designed 2 point conversion play where the team was all on the same page. Contrary to the Bills where they did the stupid Tush Push play on the 1st one and then looked like they were just winging it once they went up 22-21 1 1 Quote
