Surely Championship calibre teams don't allow their opposition to score more than 30 when they have haven't managed it all season? The Texans limited them to 23 just a week ago. Going to apportion any blame elsewhere?

Yes they do if their defense sucks.

Texans have a better defense than the Bills and that's not even really debatable.

So if you know your defense sucks, do you think hope is going to make them play better or are you going to rely on the strength of your team instead?

love you all and i don't know what to say other than jesus f*ck

on 4th and 1 either:

run the ball with a *****!ng running back, dive, counter, smash whatever the f you want

OR

go 5 wr empty

i'm sorry wtf do i know but it really seemed like they outsmarted themselves

If we went empty and didn’t pick up 4th and a half yard this board would be melting down that we didn’t sneak lol

How many points did you expect the Bills to put up today? Honestly? At the start of the game, how many points did you expect the offense to put up against the Chiefs defense? A defense that had - I'm ignoring week 18 - only let a team score more than 27 on them once this year? And that was away from Arrowhead.

Maybe the issue is that the Chiefs know all the tendencies of McD and know how to beat him.

The offense has changed so much in the last few years. But the defense has remained the same and still can’t win. McD is ineffective against the Chiefs when it matters

I fear it’s this.

McDermott’s Defense only really steps up against Rookie QB’s, mid-QB’s and Playoff Lamar Jackson.

Against elite QB’s that don’t make a bunch of mistakes, this is the result.

I don’t even know if a trade for Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby helps fix it.  I worry it’s McDermott’s defense.   When it matters, Andy Reid knows the buttons to push and can rely on the fact his QB won’t make mistakes or get greedy.

Therefore, we haven’t much of a chance to stop them.

And we’ll keep McDermott, cycle OC’s and probably ask Josh to make the Offense work because 80% of the assets needs to go to creating a loaded Defense for our Defensive Head Coach who can’t perform against elite QB’s when it matters.

Fun times to be in the AFC… where there’s always Mahomes as well as the added bonus of Burrow if his team gets their act together.

It’s not true I think op was basically saying cook will walk because he’s frustrated with losing which makes it even funnier he chose Dallas haha

so cook didn't say or do those things?

Honestly shocked the refs made so many suspicious calls for the Chiefs, again… after all week the spotlight was on Chiefs/NFL officiating.

It’s like they took it as a challenge to one up the Texans game.

Theres the slow start from Allen, who ended up balling out after.  But due to the shortcomings of this roster/coachng staff, we can’t afford an Allen slow start.

Theres McDermott’s Defense once again folding against the Chiefs.

Theres Allen’s playmakers once again choking the game away in a big spot.

Theres Beane’s high picks getting exposed as Xavier Worthy makes plays.

But even with all of that.. what could have been if the refs didn’t steal a possession from us up 1, in Chiefs territory, 4th Quarter.

Every.  Time.

It’s all anyone remembers from this game.  It’s all anyone is talking about.  The fact the Bills got screwed and the Chiefs were helped out by officials.

But the NFL doesn’t care.. and maybe they even want it this way.

It’s a winner for the NFL. When we all commit to this.. Law, we can go about addressing it.

Cannot expect to literally take points off the board and still win these games against this. All the mistakes count as 1.5 mistakes.

Magnifying glass each situational mistake and go to town on fixing them? Got a TE that can’t catch. See-ya! Tough business. DE that can’t do ANYTHING against the guy he’s bred to beat. BYE. Coach isn’t ready. Later.

Nope not that I can find anywhere on the internet

thanks I have grown to really like Cook and if he did anything remotely close to this there is no way he could still be on the team.

Sorry for all of the "pity me" posts, my brothers.

I'm really struggling right now.  Really struggling.

No need to apologize. Better to get it out than hold it in.

You’ll be back. You’re too much of an optimist to be down for too long. It’s just the moment you’re in right now.

Keep getting it out and give yourself some time.

Knowing how bad the defense is and knowing Rapp was out and later Benford, I figured the Bills would need 35 today to secure a win.

This is the highest scoring Bills offense in team history. Without the miscues tonight, they get there.

Thanks, man.

I'm glad I have a place where I can be pretty raw. pretty irrational - and people still understand.

I think that was asking too much. I didn't expect them to get beyond 30. The miscues were annoying but that's on coaching and, for me, Brady needs to be on the hotseat heading into next season. Why was Cook used so infrequently? What was with the continual use of the sneak/tush push? Are we really choosing the right players at the draft?

Despite that, I think the Chiefs could say without their own miscues - the fumble and the sacks - they would have got to 40+. We're critical of the Bills offense. If they had lost, Chiefs fans would be scrutinizing theirs and they did not play perfectly.

Andy owns McD in the playoffs.  Not sure what else can be said.  We beat them in the regular season like every year, then come playoff time it's like KC has another gear and then our coaching decides to be either too cute or too stubborn to make the necessary adjustments.

It's the off field version of Kelce's witchcraft in always finding himself open when it matters. Reid and co seem to make opposition coaches do ridiculous things when facing them in the post season.

My apologies for the bills cook Dallas thing. I got got. Twitter James cook with 105k followers had that. Thought that was him

thought a terrible night was going to get worse.  Didn't fit his personality at all.  This team likes each other, they won't point fingers and will get right back to it in march when workouts start.

Yeah, it's really mindboggling and maddening at the same time how as bad as KC looked at times this year, they still pulled out wins.

Had we been able to get the 1 seed and this game is at home, we probably win this game.
