Karma is a b!tch...

Ravens TE drops a 2 point conversion to give us the win last week and now our TE drops a 4th down conversion to essentially give the Chiefs the win this week...

Un ***** believable.

All these other sports franchises that have never won one have won in the last 5-10 years.

When is it our fvcking turn? Why is it never our fvcking turn?

Difference is it would have been tied and we had 133 left with 2 timeouts. Reid and Spagnola give us a coaching master class every year in the playoffs and amazingly do it every year winning by 7 or less.

The Chefs are just the Patriots in different costumes.  After watching a WWE video where McMahon and those guys talked about building narratives and villains, I can't help but see it in the NFL.  It's little things... how many times did the Bills have to go for a 4th and 1 because the spot was questionable and usually not even looked at?

That pissed me off man. I was like wait what short again. He ran in front of the sticks how the hell is he short. Idk I'm mad and hurt. We have Josh Allen and we're rush pushing and throwing screen passes that don't have a prayer.

They were outclassed most of the night, but ...

They gave Josh the ball with a chance to win. Spags stopped us.

I must've missed it when he went out on to the field and knocked the ball out of Kincaid's hands.

As good as our OL was all season, I felt this might have been their worst game in pass pro. Edwards was constantly walked back into Allen and it made it look like the OTs lost their reps. No where to step up and now those DEs running the wheel are right on Allen.

Rough outing for the guys up front in terms of protection.

They run a lot of stunts and misdirection. They stacked our left side knowing we’d slide the line and ended up getting pressure from the other side.

Karlaftis had a solid game. He was hounding Josh all night.

Rough outing indeed.

James Cook averaged 6.5 yards per carry and only had 13 carries for the game.

Leading receiver for the game was Hollins.

Worthy for KC 6 catches for 85 yards while Coleman had 1 catch for 12 yards.

Allen could have been a little better, but how many perfect throws down the field into tight windows did he have to make. Did Mahomes even make one? We need better scheming guys open, or better separation from skill guys (same story all year).

There was not going to be a chance with 4 KC defensive players on his face...The OL gave up so badly; Sadly didn't expect that today.

Well..sigh. This team simply never had the horses on D. Yet again.  We overachieved because of Josh's brilliance. I feel so bad for him.

And we gave the game away by trying to run Josh everytime on those 3rd and short and 4th and short...

That play was a jailbreak by KC from the snap.  It's a testament to Josh's ridiculous athleticism that he put that ball somewhere it had a chance.

As does Babich

I thought it was nice of Coleman to wear Elam’s Wonderlic score on his Jersey?

Coleman is another wasted pick IMO.

We lived thru this in 90 -94. An uber talented team, a great QB, but a coach who fails you in the biggest moments. Sorry to call out the elephant in the room, but the facts are undeniable.

This team isn't that talented though.  Aside from josh, cook, oline and maybe Shakir they're alot of jags.

Beane always says that the last game of the year shows you where you need to improve----

  • DL and Edge is not good, especially against the run, need to get younger   No game changers, everyone is so slow its like watching paint dry.
  • CB's, not any talent there after Benford.   Safety play is suspect, and that includes Rapp.
  • Need more depth of LBs.   With the sets that they play, they're going to need a replacement for Milano shortly.
  • WR's are too slow.   Cooper is not an answer.   Coleman may turn out to be a long-term project, if he will be any good at all.

Sad end to the season, but knew that KC was always looming.

The Chefs front four and their defense are the reason they are so good this year.  Spags was given the talent to run one of the better Ds I've seen in recent years.  Reid is a vet coach that knows out tendencies and has enough tools on offense to go after whatever.  He makes it look so easy that I probably don't give him enough credit.

Cook ran all over them when we actually gave him the rock.

This season made it clear (again) that we need a real edge rusher (to close out on pass rushing downs—example on 3rd down, a 1 technique DT to free up Ed and plug up the gut to contain the run, a number 1 WR who can separate and a starter quality CB.

Think we can address these needs in the draft (love having a 1st and 2 2nds but I’d really love to get into the 3rd round using our draft capital so whichever of those position players we don’t get with those picks we can still get a “solid” player at the other position.  Think we don’t have enough $$ to make a splash in FA while we have important extension decisions with key players.

Don't you be making intelligent posts. Your supposed to be screaming about how everyone that got us to the AFC championship game should be fired because they are obviously incompetent. 🤣 Pitchforks and torches only!

Yeah, the defense mesing the bed in a good game is unsurprising. What the heck happened to the O Line? Josh wasn't allowed to have his best game; he didn't have much in way of protection.
