But how can everyone and the other team know you like the left side and you don't change it?

They pulled guards.  I have no issue with Josh picking a side, but this was aiming for a far left gap that wasn't even there.

Play calling BLOWS it’s not Josh!

He hasn’t been sharp. Hasn’t been bad though either. But to overcome the Chiefs and Refs he almost has to be super human.

You either trust Elam to play or you don't

This keeping him ten yards off his guy is weak, playing not to lose instead of aggressive, playing to win football

I can live with getting beat, but not because of soft/timid football

This is not how championship teams operate. You'd think that the coach would know this by now

That big punt return for the Chiefs. #50 had a blatant tug on Cole bishop. It was painfully obvious and you could see Cole’s momentum jerk and slow down. Don’t know how there refs miss that

True... It also does not help that we come into the last Playoff game every year walking wounded in the back 7 as well... Just can't catch a break overall...

Allen is not in perfect form. It is very hard to be perfect. But someone on D got to step up. Mahomes had too much time and too much room. McD got to gamble something

O is on pace to pop up 32pts. The D has to force some 3 n outs. If we can't stop them 2-3 times on D this game is done.

Can't blame that on coaching.  Allen either has/had some nerves going or he just had a pretty bad first quarter.  Defense has been doing about what you'd expect and then subtract Benford.  We almost had two turnovers.  Stopping people hasn't been our thing all season.

Oh yes you can blame coaching.  The coaching is why Josh has so much pressure on him, he knows HE has to carry this team on his back to win the game, and in the end, struggles because of the pressue on himself because the coaching is at such a massive disadvantage against Reid who schools McD and staff EVERY TIME when the games matter most.

There were like 4 obvious penalties on that return lol

The same way they missed two blocks in the back but whatever. Our team needs to play better.

The crappy thing is Elam was supposed to be a man on man CB and it almost seems like he's playing too scared.  I don't want to see him get burned either but you can't give a 10 yard cushion to every guy who lines up against you.

Josh has been off at times, but come on are you kidding me  protecting our defense's role in this? you can't count on more TOs against a team like the chiefs. we haven't forced a punt since the denver game. No surprise that Josh always plays on edge, knowing our defense can't force a punt to save their lives.

The DB's are weak. He's just trying to protect them, and give them a chance to capitalize on a mistake.

Need to manufacture pressure, pray for another turnover and get back to running the ball. It was working again at the end of the half, control the clock and keep both Mahomes AND our D off the field.
