I understand getting points there because Josh Allen seriously needs to calm down and does not look like a guy who would convert a 4th down there. 
 

However, McDermott is again trusting his defense… his defense that traditionally (including one drive already) completely folds against KC in the big moments.

If Bass had missed the kick it would be same as going and failing at fourth down, except 7-0 down rather than 7-3.

But man.....the offensive line has to figure it out.  They are rattled right now which has Allen rushing things.  They need to take over this game.

 

I feel like they'll be fine with the quick hits like the one to Cooper and even the last pass the Shakir as long as they don't get behind the chains... They have to play clean... Mistake free...
