Still would have gone for it.  FGs aren't going to beat this team.  When the defense comes out and gives up another long TD drive, that 3 points is going to look pretty useless.

 

But man.....the offensive line has to figure it out.  They are rattled right now which has Allen rushing things.  They need to take over this game.

I was surprised, as you said, I’m about 99% sure he goes for that in the regular season. What is he worried about? Things snowballing? If we missed that kick it would have been an avalanche.

The roll out with Knox is typically open because the D crashes on the play-fake.

 

KC is well coached and knew it immediately, so the LB didn’t go to the run, he followed Knox and took it away.

 

Doesn't help that Joe hasn't tried ti establish the run at all.
