Really in the area of officiating, I really hope that the focus on the Chiefs are in the three main areas that we've seen over and over again in big spots:

  • QB roughing the passer penalties that are really ticky tack and reflect Mahomes ability to suggest more action than what really happened,
  • CB's interfering with receivers, particularly at the height of the route, and
  • OL both from an alignment but also from an early kick out on the tackles.

If these areas are called fairly on both sides---I can be at least satisfied in the outcome either way.   If the Bills OL can replicate the success in the run game that they've shown throughout the year, using our own three-headed monster of Cook/Johnson/Davis, we might finally see the "luckiest" team that I've ever seen in the NFL get exposed.       GO BILLS!

We all love Josh but let’s be honest, him and Mahomes are on equal ground when it comes to embellishing some of these hits.

I do hope they are watching the grabbing by CBs during the game though

If it does or it doesn't people will still be convinced it did. Even on legit flags against Buffalo today, watch the game day thread. Tin foil has been in short supply in the Buffalo area this week for all the hats made.

Frankly, I'm avoiding the game day thread all together.

Common you know you are gonna peek

Just please no 8 wide WR screens , they never work.

My biggest dread -  it's a tie at the end of the fourth. In overtime the Bills win the toss, take the ball, and score a TD. The Chiefs reply in kind. On the next possession, the Bills fail to score any points, with the Chiefs taking it down the field for a FG. Using the regulation season rules for overtime, the Bills would win. Instead... And it's been changed because of what happened to the Bills before.

Positivity? The Bills can do this. They match up better with the Chiefs than they do the Ravens, and victory was theirs. Protect the ball, be original on offense, maybe having to lean on Josh more than they have recently, and stout in defense.

Let's go!

This is a game where the NFL tells the refs to swallow their flags; you won't see many calls today except for the obvious pre-snap variety.

I've been fine all week. I didn't have great expectations against Baltimore, felt a little like house money to be in the AFCCG. But now that we're here....I don't know if I can even watch. Damn I want this one bad. I can't imagine how the players feel. Go Bills, everyone load up on their BP meds.

9th times a charm!  Agree but I do feel like a Shakir or Samuel double pass off a screen would be something that could work.   It would tickle my pickle if we pulled some *****ery against Reid with all the shenanigans he pulls would be pretty sweet.

I hope so.  We can bully these guys if they let us play our game

We got this.  We already passed our toughest challenge last week.  This game will be easy by comparison…we are going to win comfortably.

It's been a season of overcoming narratives, hasn't it? The Bills will take a step back this year (check); Allen is a turnover machine (check); Lamar is the real MVP (check); the Bills can't stop the run and will be crushed by a superior Ravens team (check); and now, they can't beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. Next up: They can't win the Super Bowl.

I really like the mojo of this team since Brady took over last year, which has been amplified by Babich on the defensive side. "Resilient" isn't the word; it's more a low-key "We believe in ourselves, and we're doing this for each other and for Buffalo, so FU with your dismissals and sneers."

I’m just praying it doesn’t come down to bogus officiating.

I do think that all the media attention this past week about the how skewed the officiating stats are in favor of the Chiefs is good for us.

If the game is decided once again by a controversial call going KC’s way, people are really going to melt down.

Unfortunately, melt down means engagement and eyes on the product.  I'm not sure they care.  So leave NO DOUBT with a commanding win!  GO BILLS!
