I do think that all the media attention this past week about the how skewed the officiating stats are in favor of the Chiefs is good for us. 

 

If the game is decided once again by a controversial call going KC’s way, people are really going to melt down.

Of course I have but there's no way Josh fakes it as much as Mahomes done and to the contrary, Josh takes pride in ignoring hits put on him by defenders. He's too much of a man to turn every contact into an acting opportunity.

Also, exactly what does it benefit to prematurely confirm to our opponents that a player is playing or not?

Bingo. Has he done it? Probably. Which QB hasn’t? Big picture: A guy who actively looks to run over and through defenders doesn’t seem like the type who first and foremost embellishes a hit, at least to me.

Yea idk…mahomes’ image problem is he’s lookin to flop on scrambles and does the ‘will I go out of bounds? Who knowwwwws’ along the sideline…if it was just the ol’ exaggerate a late-ish hit in the pocket I don’t think people would care so much. 
 

Josh is literally the anti flopper on qb runs lol he is trying to run defenders over so he gets the benefit of the doubt from people for trying to draw flags in the pocket

I mean why not use that to your advantage when you can? It’s not illegal and he needs to get blown up when he does it. I hate the sliding rule and feel it is an unfair disadvantage to the defender. He is still operating within the rules

Lol I gotta respectfully disagree there.  I think he’s good at exaggerating those bang-bang play type hits in the pocket but flop isn’t even on his mind when he’s run it across the line of scrimmage.  I’ve watched every salty chiefs/dolphins fan Allen flop montage I can find and I haven’t really seen any of those mahomes ‘ragdoll on a qb run/super late slide’ type plays
