One more until the Superbowl. The Chiefs are our true nemesis and the Ravens a challenge-if we can make the big dance I feel AFC is just a better conference by far.

 

I think Cole Bishop is ready. He's a second round player and now he's had a whole season to learn the defense, and get on the field. Athletically he has the numbers. Of course Kelcie will get his catches, but at some point Cole will have the opportunity to make a big play. 

 

I don't care whether they are going to throw flags or not, the D line still has to hit Mahomes. You pick your poison.

 

We can run on this team, and hit stuff over the middle. Shakir. Knox. And about time Kinkaid had a big game. Our O line can neutralize their D line, and Josh can face their blitz -whether with his legs or hitting Ty Johnson .

 

At some point we need to be a bit more aggressive than the past to seal this game. KC won't choke like the Ravens.

If Mahomes puts on his cape Josh has to also.  I don't expect McDermott to outcoach Reid, but he can't make a call that loses a tight game.

 

Look, nobody in the nation outside of Kansas wants KC to win.  The Bills deserve this. Let's go kick those frackin' insurance peddlers in the mouth.

There is no way the Bills want their opponents to have that information before it is absolutely necessary. Inactives are announced 90 minutes before kickoff.  If he is out, you will know then.

Here's the thing. Someone (Dave Portnoy) bet a million dollars on the Bills to win the Super Bowl before the Ravens game. The payout is 6.8 if they win it all.

 

That same someone could literally hedge 1.3 on the Chiefs money line and break even no matter who wins today...

 If you’re betting that much on a game, you’re obviously willing to lose it. Personally, I’d be donating it to a charity or a cause the team is affiliated with, if I was a Chiefs fan. If not? A better cause. Each to their own though.

we became a physical bully.  Kromer, Brady, McGovern moving to C, Edwards being more physical than Morse, Anderson being an emotional brute.  We had 3 TDs vs the physical ravens D.  All rushing.  I don’t think that was possible in the past.  We impose our will when needed.  That’s the biggest difference imo.  We need to be the bullies today and, god willing, in another 2 weeks.

the main thing is we need a cushion of points.  if its close and the chiefs have the ball..well i dont want to go down that road.   from start to finish..dont squander any 

points that could be there.

This is most likely true. Just like casinos do their best to not put their money at risk, these high level gamblers cover their bets with hedge bets towards the end of the season. They don’t stay solvent risking huge sums without a little insurance

So I’m hoping we see a fairly officiated game.

Hopefully, Blakeman hasn't been told "he better make things right today"!

They say they do and they say it's real but it's usually a promotional bit between the book and the persona.

 

I had known someone in the books that told me about it. Basically, the persona is a well known bettor and gambles a lot. They'll be approached and paid to advertise a bet - they'll get comped a whole lot of the value and have a payout that's negotiated.
