It's been 48 hours now since I had a fever and my temperature did not drop below 101.3 F (38.5 C).

It really sucks before the biggest game of the year, especially since I am from Slovakia and game starts at 30 minutes after midnight local time.

Anyway, I'll watch the game and as I said before Ravens game, this one won't be as close. 26-17 Bills, similar to regular season game.

And then we will crush whoever wins NFC in SB.

I had the flu during the 1993 Divisional against the Raiders and watched at home huddled under multiple blankets, shivering and hallucinating. I went right back to bed afterward.

A week later I was in the stands at Rich watching us walk all over the Chiefs.

I relapsed after that game and was sick for another month.

It was worth it.

The O-line continues to be the most underrated part of this team. All the media and rival fans can focus on is skill positions. The Bills line allowed a ridiculous 8 sacks, 30 pass TDs/32 rushing TDs, and the least amount of turnovers EVER. Allen has had all ample time to scan the field and not rush any throw. This directly impacted his TD/INT ratio. Beane is very traditional & old school when it comes to building a roster. Build your lines on each side first. A dominant O & D line can mask a lot of deficiencies.

I’m not knocking our WRs, they are much better than advertised, but the line along w/ Allen’s ability to extend plays gives them more time to get open. No matter who runs the ball, it seems like they are making positive gains. Especially Ty Johnson who seems to get 8+ yards every time he touches the ball. They are all very talented in their own right, but the line gives them the proper space to work their magic.

💯

Everyone yelling about how we need to focus on becoming an unstoppable passing attack because it’s a passing league.  No it’s not.  It’s a balanced league. If you aren’t balanced- the likelihood of winning a SB are small imo.

we became a physical bully.  Kromer, Brady, McGovern moving to C, Edwards being more physical than Morse, Anderson being an emotional brute.  We had 3 TDs vs the physical ravens D.  All rushing.  I don’t think that was possible in the past.  We impose our will when needed.  That’s the biggest difference imo.  We need to be the bullies today and, god willing, in another 2 weeks.

Joe is Staying!

It Doesn’t Get Better Than This!

If he has another great year, he is all but gone in 2026 and rightfully so. Brady gave Josh a lethal run game to work with. I am 1000% sure they could’ve put Trubisky behind center against Baltimore and still would’ve had a strong chance of winning. If you told me the Bills would go on to beat the Ravens where Allen put up less than 150 total yards, I would’ve laughed in your face.

Well I least I slept till 8am , got bets on Phil Wash to get me to 630 pm , all medication is refilled and breaking out the Jim Kelly 12 jersey last time I wore it 93 vs Dallas SB. Told myself would not wear it till we went back, but today making an exception .

I’m just praying it doesn’t come down to bogus officiating.

I do think that all the media attention this past week about the how skewed the officiating stats are in favor of the Chiefs is good for us.

If the game is decided once again by a controversial call going KC’s way, people are really going to melt down.

McD has two choices:

History

or

Infamy

Are those the symbols on each side of the opening coin? Odd…..They usually have the team logos or the conference logo and trophy.

If it does or it doesn't people will still be convinced it did. Even on legit flags against Buffalo today, watch the game day thread. Tin foil has been in short supply in the Buffalo area this week for all the hats made.

Frankly, I'm avoiding the game day thread all together.

Really in the area of officiating, I really hope that the focus on the Chiefs are in the three main areas that we've seen over and over again in big spots:

  • QB roughing the passer penalties that are really ticky tack and reflect Mahomes ability to suggest more action than what really happened,
  • CB's interfering with receivers, particularly at the height of the route, and
  • OL both from an alignment but also from an early kick out on the tackles.

If these areas are called fairly on both sides---I can be at least satisfied in the outcome either way.   If the Bills OL can replicate the success in the run game that they've shown throughout the year, using our own three-headed monster of Cook/Johnson/Davis, we might finally see the "luckiest" team that I've ever seen in the NFL get exposed.       GO BILLS!
