True. But it's good to have solid experience for depth. 

 

He can play CB too if needed

I haven’t paid a lot of attention to Bishop this season.  Can he handle it?

 

I think how he performs could have a big outcome on the game.

At 36 years old, can he REALLY play CB? Or even S for that matter, while we're at it? DBs, more than ANY other position on the field, rely on quick feet, loose hips, and acceleration. Not sure those are the traits that stick around well as one embarks upon the back half of his 30s. (The rare and celebrated exceptions to this are testaments to the difficulty and physical demands of the position.)

He can get you through a game at CB in zone. But he'll mainly backup at safety. 

 

Do you think Elam will be active or codrington? One of them will have to be inactive

I guess it all depends on Benford's evaluation.   I still see Elam being active instead of Kareem.  I wish the Bills had groomed a younger kid in the practice squad at the safety position.
