Brown is the reason I never really worried about the Bengals long term. He had to sell the naming rights to the stadium just to sign Borrow.  There’s no way they are going to be willing or able to sign all the guys they will need to retain.

Agree. They caught a bit of lightning in a bottle their Super Bowl year, but since then they steadily let talented players who fit their systems (especially on defense) walk away. To the point they replaced  a well regarded DC because he couldn't make it work with duct tape and twine. Now it's looking like the purge on offense is due. Mixon last off-season, likely Higgins this one.

We put up with decades of mistakes because of a cheapskate owner, or rather an owner who listened to his bean counter instead of spending money he could afford to win more than 25% of the time.  Ralph was a good soul but the biggest reason the early 90s Bills didn't win the last two Super Bowls is that they got completely outspent by Jerry Jones.

So I feel sorry for the Cincinnati fans, who have some really good players but not the rest of the story.  That is, I feel sorry for them if the Bengals aren't in the playoffs.

Those Dallas teams lucked out on talent with the Herschel Walker trade....It simply changed the dynamics of that team.

This is REALLY bad news for the league. What cities are possibly up for grabs if they do move, maybe San Antonio? I doubt they would be the first international NFL franchise, but then again I refused to believe that the Rams and Chargers would BOTH relocate...

I drive by it all the time , it's like the Browns stadium, problem it's right downtown, you basically park under a freeway to tailgate

Yep and they have the out door facility which looks to basically be a very large blow up tent next to the stadium and it would make total sense to have it outside of the city . It makes for some nice over head pics during the game but i can't imagine that parking or tail gating is convenient in any way .

The Reds stadium is basically the same way ...

We shall see... never underestimate the greed of team owners, no matter how long the team has been in one city. It's gotten out of hand over the last 25 years...

That is all a complete lie

The '90s bills were called the million dollar bills.. we had some of the highest payrolls in the NFL

Ralph also made OJ Simpson the first million dollar player.. made Jim Kelly the highest paid player in the league.  Bruce Smith was the highest paid defensive player

And the bills had a higher payroll than the cowboys and Jerry Jones in the SB in 93

Ralph was never afraid to spend money.  He made derrrek dockery the highest paid guard NFL history

He said money on the wrong people

Didn't the Bills have a couple times where they were down to 1 year left a couple times and that summer, they came to a deal?

No way they do not figure out a deal.. that would be hard to believe.

One of these days people are going to stop being held hostage by sports teams. Seriously, what is wrong with that stadium? Keep it maintained and it should last 100 years.

make it out of roman concrete and it will last forever.

Yeah, when I hear it opened in 2000 I think wow that’s new, then I remember how old I am and realize it’s a quarter century.

still not an OLD stadium though. People always want new now, never happy with a used TV or an iPhone from 3 years ago or a used car. It’s the social media generation I tell ya. Something needs to be done.

everything I’ve ever had in life was once owned by someone else, my car, my wife, my refrigerator. You don’t hear

me complaining !

i keep my phone and cars till they die 💀💀

The problem isn't that it's 25 years old. The problem is that it was built as cheaply as possible 25 years ago. Kind of like the Sabres arena.

what's wrong with the arena ?

Does it surprise anyone that Mike Brown is being cheap but wants everything given to him. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bengals move to another place just so Brown can line his pockets in a new stadium deal in a new town. Someone will give it to him if he can't take Cincinnati to the cleaners
