Don Otreply Posted Saturday at 01:51 AM Posted Saturday at 01:51 AM I’ve been having s-x all week long, I mean 24/7, so there’s the reason I haven’t thought about the game so much , how about you guys? 1 Quote
GASabresIUFan Posted Saturday at 02:06 AM Posted Saturday at 02:06 AM Last week I avoided pretty much everything about the Ravens/Bills game. I had the earlier game in my mind and hated the matchup. The Bills prevailed. Now this week, we have the opposite problem. We beat the Chiefs (as we tend to do in the regular season), it's hard to beat the same team twice and the Bills just aren't as good on the road. Add the Rapp injury and the Reid/Mahomas/Swift mojo and all signs point to another disappointment. Strangely enough that is giving me optimism and unlike last week, I've been reading about the game (avoiding podcasts again). I think the Bills biggest advantage this week is that they have nothing to lose. The narratives are already written, but unlike in years past the Bills have things they haven't had before in this "big game" 1. They have a dominate running game allowing the Bills to control the tempo of the game. This combines with an Oline that maybe the best in football. Control the clock and keep Josh upright leads to good results. 2. They are mostly healthy on defense. Last year, the Bills D played the entire game with AJ Klein and Dane Jackson playing every snap and no Bernard, Benford or Milano. This year all 3 will be in the lineup plus a healthy Douglas. 3. We don't have any weapons KC can take away. The Bills maybe unique in football. Shakir and Cook are the "best skill players" on offense, but neither is necessary for the Bills to win. The Bills had 13 players catch a TD, 3 different players lead the team in rushing, 5 players lead a game in receptions and 10 different players lead the team in reception yards including all 3 RBs and all the WRs. This is the most balanced, deep and healthy team the Bills bring to the AFC Championship game. It's time. 1 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted Saturday at 02:12 AM Posted Saturday at 02:12 AM Virtually none. I’ve been saying all year, the Bills are playing with house money in 2024. Just enjoy the ride, win or lose, very very few people expected them to still be playing football in late January, let alone February. Go Bills Quote

Billsfed1 Posted Saturday at 03:06 AM Posted Saturday at 03:06 AM All week, but in a very good way. Love the positivity and good vibes surrounding this game. It’s hard to explain, but the energy just feels right, like it’s meant to/going to happen. Quote

stevestojan Posted Saturday at 03:10 AM Posted Saturday at 03:10 AM (edited) I have a one year old. He just turned one two weeks ago. So he’s all over the place, constantly searching for the most dangerous things in our house. One must be on their toes at all times. It’s a full time job and then some. Oh, this wasn’t the parenting thread? Well, to answer your question: non stop every day and sometimes in my dreams if I leave YouTube highlights playing while I fall asleep. My little dude will be ok - chicks dig scars. Edited Saturday at 03:10 AM by stevestojan 2 Quote

I also mentioned how I made my three daughters crazy Bills fans like my wife and I. I knew when we left the game last week I mentioned how it is going to be a long stressful week for me. I wasn't sure how their week would be until I intercepted texts between them. One a doctor, one a lawyer, and one a teacher, all with kids. So where were their minds this week. Teacher..." Do you think Josh Allen has any idea how much I think about him and the Bills in a day this past week. Do they know I wonder if they can actually win and go to the Super Bowl way too many times a day .Do they know how much I care? Do they care as much? He may have sounded a little sick in the press conference soooo is he getting enough vitamin C. What if he gets the flu or strep? Doctor( Connecticut)......Oh my Josh!!!! this sounds exactly like me. Lawyer.( Pittsburgh)..... What if Dion Dawkins gets ill. I just asked Steve(husband) if Sean McDermott is thinking about the game as much as I am? I am worried about the quality of Josh Allens sleep and his hydration. I keep wondering, CAN THEY DO IT? CAN THEY DO IT? Teache ( Warren,Pa)r,,,,,,,, If we got paid to care we'd all be rich. Going back to the 90's Super Bowl run. My wife and I were fortunate enough to win the ticket lotto and attend 3 of the 4. We had family members who took care of the kids while we were gone. I realized we may have been a little overboard with our fandom when after the 4th loss we called home to check on the kids. My mother- in- law told me the girls did not want to go to school as they would get bullied because of the loss again.....I need for them, me and all of you to experience the THRILL OF VICYORY. GO BILLS They're killin me Whitey, they're killin me I mean it’s the biggest game since I’ve been alive. All the countless hours posting on here, the old school BuffaloBills.com message board, all the podcasts, the arguments, stupid sports shows, etc. All the time I spend on Bills related stuff. Everything comes down to this. We may not make it to the AFC Championship for another few years. The AFC is so freaking stacked and we got lucky we don’t have to go through the Bengals. The bottom line is this is the year. We have some players out, but are still relatively healthy considering it’s the 20th game. Buffalo HAS to win. I don’t want to think about the possibility that they don’t. This forum is going to be upside down. I think Buffalo is playing w/ some real magic & swagger this year. I said if we made it past the Ravens then the Chiefs defense will be a cakewalk. Score 27+ and we win. We just need the defense to make some key stops and a turnover or 2. I’m gonna go Buffalo 27 - 24. Allen and the Bills lead a long time consuming drive to run down the clock and Bass redeems himself w/ the GW FG as time expires. Buffalo Bills are headed New Orleans to face the Eagles in SB LIX. Book it Quote
