Been waiting 34 years for this. Every game since 1990 I have watched. This is literally a life moment for me. With family, at bars, on the road, flying up from Fl, Etc. every game every season. It’s not the most important thing to me, but I feel like the time is now.

I had open heart  surgery on December 20 and saw two games in a hospital bed.  I was thinking Bills constantly.   Good for us.

 

I was “released” for alcohol a few days ago, and I’m enjoying cocktails at a favorite restaurant now.  Steaks to follow.

 

So, with hospital and home time, I’ve been thinking about this particular game for weeks.  Candidly, this particular  matchup.   My view was that we had to get past the Ravens in order to meet the Chiefs.  I want Kansas City and I want Mahomes.   

 

I am now in a restaurant, recovering, and having cocktails, wine and some steak.  Life’s funny, again.  I’m watching the Bills vs. Chiefs games on the restaurant bar television.  I just suffered through 13 seconds.  CBS NFL.   All of the matches.

 

I have kids.   They were raised out of town, but are Bills Mafia forever.   I want this for them.  I want this for Josh Allen.

 

How much time have I been thinking about this game?   Fifty five years.  My first game was in 1969.

 

This version of the Buffalo Bills, with once in a lifetime talent Josh Allen, makes me more confident than I’ve ever been.

 

Go Bills.   There is no set of fans more passionate, more deserving, than ours.

 

How much time have I spent thinking about this game?   You gotta be kidding me.   This is my moment.  This is my kid’s moment.   This is Josh Allen’s moment.

As a follow up. I was thinking back to the Bills beating the Raiders 51-3 to go to Super Bowl 25. I was in the stands Sec H Row 3 Aisle 2 crying like a baby. I had been to Cleveland for the Harmon drop, I had been to Cincy when the Icky Shuffle was a thing, both losses by the Bills. I had dreams of the Bills hosting a playoff game, now it was the AFC Championship game, cold as hell, freezing beers not caring one bit, tears running down my face thinking FINALLY.

 

There's a tear in my beer and I'm cryin for ya dear!
