My opinion depends on information that I don't have. If McDermott/Brady feel like they have a killer 2 point play that has a very good chance, then go for it. I'm talking like > 85%.

If they don't, then kick the extra point and try your luck in overtime. Remember that both teams get a possession now even if the first team scores a TD in the playoffs.

No right or wrong answer imo. If he plays it safe, I get it. Avoiding another potential OT loss to the same team but in a bigger game? Going for 2 is perfectly fine.

There is an ebb and flow to every game. I generally say go for it, but it’s not a formula. You need to know the feel of the game for me to make a call.

Not sure why anyone would wanna go for 2. You litterally give yourself ONE chance/play to win the game. At least if you go to overtime, you have more than one play to win the game

Bass has missed the most xpts this season. And giving the refs an entire OT to screw us doesn't appeal to me.

Keep in mind. Even if the defense is playing tough, a field goal wins the game after the first possession. All KC would have to do is stop us ONE time and then kick a FG.

Everyone knows the new rules - the Bills caused them. Bills stop the Chiefs in OT, Bass has an AFC Championship game winner on his resume.

Overtime gives us a 50% chance of winning.

Overtime’s are not games of chance, like flipping a coin.

I remember under the overtime rules from 3 years ago, the team who won the coin toss in the playoffs had a 90% chance of winning.

So it's exactly like flipping a coin.

Even now, a game goes into OT when after four quarters only when each team has demonstrated a perfectly equal ability to score.  So who comes out in overtime is a 50-50 proposition unless one team had a significant injury late in the game.

We having grilled cheese with it too?!?

Thx, I now know I’m going to the Hobnob for lunch tomorrow. The relief of having that decision behind me is a weight lifted.  😊

Yeah, I could see going for two in that scenario. However, they did change the overtime rules so that BOTH teams get a possession in the playoffs.

For that reason, I chose to kick the extra point.

Yeah, but that was under the old rules.

Depends on the play. Shotgun handoff to a RB or drop back pass from the 2? Then kick it. Josh running it himself, then go for 2. My favorite is rolling right and he can run it or throw it and I prefer he run
